Declan Rice started both matches in midfield, paired by Angel Gomes in the first and Kobbie Mainoo in the second. Lee Carsley kept the attacking cast unchanged, with Anthony Gordon on the left-wing, Jack Grealish as the number ten, Bukayo Saka on the right-wing, and Harry Kane up front.
England’s Recent Form and Tactics
Carsley has had a perfect start to life as England boss, winning his opening two matches without yet conceding. Both Ireland and Finland were defeated 2-0 by the Three Lions.
In the first match, England got the job done swiftly, with former Ireland international Rice scoring after 11 minutes, and former Ireland youth player Grealish scoring in the 26th.

However, in their home match, it was the second-half in which both goals came. Kane scored a brace as England generated an expected goals of 1.21 compared to Finland’s 0.00.
Carsley’s side will aim to be on top form as a win against Greece would put them top of Group B.
