How Bayern Munich Have Lined Up Recently

In that encounter with Dortmund mentioned above, which was a major step backwards, Bayern started with Sven Ulreich in goal. Joshua Kimmich was the right back of choice again, as Alphonso Davies returned to the left back spot. Meanwhile, Konrad Laimer played in the holding midfield role next to Leon Goretzka. Leroy Sané, Thomas Müller, Jamal Musiala, and Harry Kane yet again made up the front four.

That meant that there were three key changes to the team compared to the previous match. Davies came in for Raphael Guerreiro and Laimer replaced Aleksandar Pavlovic because of illness. Beyond that, Manuel Neuer was out injured and Ulreich played in his place.

The most concerning thing about that performance was the lack of effort on the part of the players. That is not something that can easily be switched back on against Arsenal, the players must work hard in training and on Saturday against Heidenheim. Bayern Munich Recent Form and Tactics

The team seemed to be back on track before that loss to Dortmund, with three emphatic victories in a row. Overall, Bayern have won five, drawn one, and lost four of their last 10 matches in all competitions. Needless to say, that is far from a Bayern–like statistic. Tactically though, things are likely to stay as they are. Ultimately there may be some personnel changes here and there and not much more.

Bayern Munich Injuries to Consider

Coach Thomas Tuchel announced that there are five potential starting candidates out for the Heidenheim match and possibly beyond. In his remarks to the media on Friday, he confirmed that Neuer, Noussair Mazraoui, Pavlovic, Sané and Kingsley Coman would all miss the game.
