‘Said Yes’: West Ham Now Agree New Deal With ‘Unbelievable’ Star

West Ham United’s victory in the Europa Conference League last season thrust them into the European spotlight. This year – they are contesting another Premier League campaign and a challenging Europa League group stage. One of the players instrumental to their success, attacker Jarrod Bowen, has signed an extension that will keep him a Hammer for years to come, as reported by Fabrizio Romano.

Romano stated that Bowen’s extension was a “long-term” signing. This comes only days after the 26-year-old was called up, to the England National Squad by Gareth Southgate. A four-year veteran with the Hammers, the scoring threat has netted 45 times during his tenure.

Romano further stated that Bowen had desired a stay at London Stadium as a “key part of the project.” The former Hull City player was named in the Europa Conference League Team of the Season after he scored six goals en route to a stunning final victory over Fiorentina.

Bowen West Ham Presence Needed

Bowen, previously described as “unbelievable” has five goals in seven matches this domestic campaign. West Ham are sitting around the middle of the table at the time of writing and have already played many of the tougher opponents they are required to face in the English top flight. Their European campaign has also impressed fans.

The Hammers were drawn in Group A along with Olympiacos, Freiburg and Backa Topola. Wins against the Serbians and Germans has West Ham first in the group. Bowen has yet to feature for David Moyes in the competition but would be integral to a deep run.

The London Stadium faithful have grown accustomed to shouting Bowen’s name whenever he utilises the open space behind defences. His work ethic will be vital – to any success West Ham has this season.
