The former Olympique Lyon man was not short of suitors over the course of the summer. However, the deal collapsed as the Italian side could not reach an agreement with the player’s entourage. Surprisingly, the UEFA Champions League finalists, Inter Milan were also considering a move for Ndombele, but the interest never came to fruition.

Despite a largely disappointing spell in North London, Ndombele is a player with undoubted ability. He has the ability to shift his body weight and carry the ball in different directions when in possession, making him a nightmare to play against and effective at resisting the press.
