Medical Scheduled – Leeds United Fans Betrayed as Star Player Set to Leave; He Committed Himself to Leeds Today

According to Fabrizio Romano, Leeds United’s star player Luis Sinisterra is set to leave the club on loan to Bournemouth, with the winger “set to travel for a medical”.

Why is Luis Sinisterra Leaving Leeds United a Problem?

One of the main players in Daniel Farke’s squad thus far has been the Colombian. His high level of technical ability and finishing have led the Whites to a series of wins in his past performances, and him staying at Leeds has given fans a morale boost as it demonstrated that the club could retain their best players.

Sinisterra leaving Elland Road is an issue because it leaves the club with a big hole to fill and not much time to fill it. Fans may also lose confidence in the ownership, as a talismanic talent is on the way out.

Leeds United Fans Feeling Betrayed

Loyal Whites may feel betrayed at the move, with the winger reportedly telling fans just hours prior that he would stay at the club. This is a similar saga to the exit of Rasmus Kristensen, in which the Dane told fans he would stay and still left. Supporters getting more and more disillusioned with the club is likely to continue if this trend goes on, and especially if it harms results.

Do Leeds Have a Replacement Lined Up

There have been some links made between Brighton’s Facundo Buonanotte and Leeds United, with the expectation that any move would come in an attempt to boost the squad in the event of any departures. Losing the Colombian is almost certain to lead to a flurry of transfer activity that attempts to strengthen the Whites’ front line.
