Italian Giants Set for Crucial Round of Talks

Bayern May Lose Him Due to ‘Exit Clause’

Crucially, Sommer’s contract reportedly contains an “exit clause” that allows him to leave for the “same fee” that Bayern invested to secure his services just back in January. This clause could play a significant role in facilitating the transfer negotiations between the two clubs.

Inter are looking to reinforce their goalkeeping department. They have expressed interest in not just Sommer but also Anatolij Trubin, according to Romano. The Italian club aims to replace the departing duo of Onana and Samir Handanovic. A fee of around £5 million is the expected price tag.

Both clubs are keen to reach a mutually beneficial agreement. Romano insists “it will happen this week”. This next round of talks will prove to be a decisive step.
