Deal for Harry Kane Could be Completed Very Soon
The Bavarian club are planning on an urgent Friday meeting “in London” with Tottenham Hotspur’s chairman Daniel Levy in an attempt to close a deal for Kane, according to Christian Falk from SPORTBILD.

It seems there is a good chance that Tottenham will let the Englishman, who is in the final year of his contract, leave for Bayern Munich this summer in an effort to salvage a large transfer fee, with the German giants willing to pay up to £86 million.
Manchester United Face Fierce Competition for Key Targets
Manchester United were previously involved in talks with Daniel Levy to acquire the forward but left negotiations under the impression that Tottenham never intended to reach a deal. The Englishman is highly regarded by Manchester United boss Erik ten Hag and Sky Sports has described the striker as a “dream fit” for the manager.
As a result of failed negotiations for Harry Kane, the club began talks for Atalanta striker Rasmus Holjund. However, PSG are now seeking to hijack that deal and are in negotiations with the Dane and his club. If the Red Devils do not move quickly, they could miss out on both players, leaving them blunt in attack for the next season.

Tottenham Could Pursue Randal Kolo Muani as Harry Kane’s Replacement
Randal Kolo Muani is on Spurs’ radar as a potential replacement for the Englishman, reports Falk. The Frenchman has shown similarities to Harry Kane in important ways during his time at Eintracht Frankfurt, in particular, his ability to provide chances for others.
In 32 Bundesliga matches, the forward registered 15 goals and 11 assists. He also scored six goals and provided three assists in DFB-Pokal, as well as two Champions League goals in seven games. At 24 years old, he shows great potential to improve and measures up well against Harry Kane, as both players are 6’2″.
His national side teammate Kylian Mbappe has described the player as “very complete”. Statistically, the Frankfurt forward shares one key trait with Kane in that he is exceptional at creating chances. Last season he registered 0.19 expected assists per 90 and 3.23 shot-creating actions per 90, placing him in the 89th and 87th percentiles respectively for forwards in the top 5 leagues.
Kolo Muani also shows exceptional ability in taking on defenders and progressing the ball through defensive lines. He demonstrates extreme promise as a striker and could be the perfect fit for Spurs.

Fans Despair Over Harry Kane Transfer Situation
The reaction to the news surrounding Kane has been understandably negative from many Spurs fans. A common theme has been frustration over the time that the transfer saga is taking, as some fans feel that the club should be wrapping up a deal and lining up replacements, as well as strengthening the defence. Others have lamented the club for letting the player down and not capitalising on his success.
Tottenham bosses now face the nightmare task of replacing Harry Kane, who surpassed Jimmy Greaves’ place as Tottenham’s record goalscorer by scoring his 267th goal in February 2023. The Englishman’s tally is now up to 280 goals, with 213 in the Premier League, as well as 46 assists. He has won three golden boots in his time at Spurs.
Spurs’ next match is in London on the 6th of August against Shatkar Donetsk, so the England captain may well have played his last game for the club.
