Mexico vs Saudi Arabia Predictions and Best Odds for November 30

Mexico vs Saudi Arabia

Group C is quite the mess of names with it all to play for as we enter the final set of group games. The third and fourth-placed sides play with one side needing a miracle to qualify and the other needing a positive result to finish above Argentina or Poland.

Mexico vs Saudi Arabia Predictions and Betting Odds for Group C Climax

Mexico Run of Form

Mexico came into the tournament on the back of a very mixed year. They haven’t really been able to string together a strong run of results but they weren’t exactly ice-cold. That spotty nature carried over into their World Cup campaign as they find themselves with just one point from two games.

They need a bit of a miracle to qualify, and we’re not sure they’re capable of such a feat.

Saudi Arabia Run of Form

A strong start to 2022 earned Saudi Arabia a spot in the tournament as they won three out of the last four group games to finish first in Group D in the AFC and make it to the World Cup. They have at times been tough to beat but are also susceptible to goal droughts that lead to losses against talented teams.

What Each Team Needs

A win for The Falcons will guarantee them a spot in the knockout stages of the tournament. A draw could see them go through but they would be relying on Poland or Argentina to do them a favour in that scenario.

Things are a bit more difficult for The Tricolor as a win keeps them in contention. From there, they would need Czesław Michniewicz’s side to win to qualify, or they would need Lionel Messi and co. to win by enough goals to send Mexico through on goal difference.

Mexico vs Saudi Arabia Prediction

This one is definitely on a knife edge as neither team is clearly superior to the other. We expect World Cup hero Guillermo Ochoa to play a big part. Keeping Herve Renard’s team from scoring will be a massive part of the game plan. If he can work his heroics then he may will his nation to victory.

Current Betting Odds: Mexico vs Saudi Arabia

SkyBet currently has Gerardo Martino and his charges as the favourites with odds of 4/6. Their opponents are trailing behind at 4/1 odds, quite a surprising gap in the betting market.
