Gabriel Jesus

A move for Gabriel Jesus away from Manchester City continues to look like the likeliest outcome. But according to DiMarzio: “Tottenham are moving under the radar to try to buy Gabriel Jesus”. Manager Antonio Conte wants more though as the newest reports suggest they will try to move in on the wantaway Manchester City player. Jesus fits the profile of a forward that Conte likes. He is a forward who will work hard for the team off the ball as well as on the ball. Being able to run in behind or come short to feet and link with the other players in the forward line. He is versatile enough to play in a front two that Conte has played before or play as an inside forward in the three that Conte has favoured in his time in London thus far.

Jesus Interest

Other clubs have been keen to sign the Brazilian forward away from the Etihad. Arsenal are very interested in reuniting manager Mikel Arteta and Jesus in London. However, with the Gunners being pipped to the Champions League by their most hated rivals Jesus could choose to go to Tottenham over Arsenal to play in the Champions League.

Chelsea have also shown interest as the new owners try to prove they back Thomas Tuchel. Multiple reports suggest Chelsea are looking to sign wingers with Ousmane Dembele and Raheem Sterling linked to the club. Jesus and his agent will want to know where they stand before making any move to the other side of London.
