Jude Bellingham Pledges his Future to Die Schwarzgelben

Jude Bellingham

Manchester City and Borussia Dortmund recently announced an agreed transfer for Erling Haaland. That is one saga dealt with but the Germans still have another on their hands. Young Englishman Jude Bellingham is attracting interest from clubs all across Europe, and rightly so. The teenager won’t be leaving Dortmund just yet though, as per Fabrizio Romano.

Jude Bellingham Opens up About his Future

Good News for Dortmund Fans

Haaland’s departure was inevitable and the same could go for Jude Bellingham in truth. He was quoted as saying: “I will be here at Borussia Dortmund next season. I’m ready”, to Ruhr Nachrichten BVB. A lot of major stars have left the secondary team in Germany over the years. Some have crossed the divide and joined Bayern Munich. Others though, like Haaland and Bellingham eventually, have gone elsewhere whether it be England or Spain.

There has been a fair bit of manager turnover at the Signal Iduna Park in the last decade or so. Lucien Favre was replaced by Edin Terzic and now Marco Rose is the man at the helm. Rose has done a decent job but they continue to be a team that blows hot and cold. A key point in their season was the Europa League exit at the hands of finalists Rangers.

Jude Bellingham was one of the only positives to come from that two-legged tie and he was seen bellowing at teammates for their lack of effort. He has always played with his heart on his sleeve and so despite being an 18-year-old from Stourbridge, it is fair to say he plays like a seasoned pro.

Who Were the Potential Suitors for Jude Bellingham?

As previously mentioned, whilst Jude Bellingham is staying put, for the time being, he will make an even bigger move soon enough. One of the clubs supposedly leading the charge, if rumours are to be believed, is the quadruple-chasing Liverpool. Georginio Wijnaldum has departed the club and the likes of Jordan Henderson and James Milner are beginning to age out.

Fabinho and Thiago are the two prime midfielders at Anfield and adding Jude Bellingham to the mix would make for a mouth-watering trio. Manchester United have also been mentioned in these conversations with Bellingham and Declan Rice supposedly being on their radar. However, it seems likely that the Red Devils will be able to compete with the cream of the crop when it comes to European football.

Because Bellingham is English, the clambering is for him to make a move back to his home country as we saw with former teammate Jadon Sancho. The winger’s struggles in the red half of Manchester may prompt Jude Bellingham to think twice about a Premier League move though. Both Real Madrid and Barcelona are sniffing around the dynamic midfielder. Los Blancos are soon going to be forced into replacing Kroos, Casemiro and Modric in that midfield with Eduardo Camavinga and Federico Valverde poised to fill two of the berths.

Jude Bellingham is one of the hottest properties in world football currently. Along with Pedri of Barcelona, he is a star midfielder despite being in their teenage years. Liverpool seems to be a good fit but every European giant should be chasing his signature if they have any sense about them.
