How Manchester United Have Lined-up Recently

In their recent 3-0 victory over Brentford, Juan Mata made a return to the Manchester United starting lineup and put in an impressive display.

Injuries to Fred and Paul Pogba in recent weeks meant Scott McTominay and Nemanja Matić have been starting in midfield.

Raphaël Varane and Victor Lindelöf have both started at centre-back in recent games due to Harry Maguire’s injury.

Manchester United Injuries to Consider

United captain Maguire is expected to return to the squad. Marcus Rashford will not be in the side due to illness. Eric Bailly is also a doubt.

Speaking at the pre-match press conference, manager Ralf Rangnick said: “Harry is back in training, he trained the whole week since the second day after the Brentford game so he will be available for tomorrow and part of the group.

“Edinson (Cavani) is training, he came on as a sub, Marcus Rashford will be missing, he’s got bronchitis with a high temperature so he won’t be able to be part of the group.

“We have a question mark on Eric Bailly, he called the doctor this morning and had some back problems and he is being checked right now.

“We will have to see if he will be able to train afterwards.”
