Lille Forward Jonathan Ikoné Set for Fiorentina Medical

Lille and Serie A club Fiorentina have agreed on a deal for forward Jonathan Ikone. The deal is believed to be worth €15 million to Lille plus up to €8m in bonuses and a 10 per cent cut of any future transfer fee.

The 23-year-old France international is due to travel to Florence on December 23rd to have the first part of his medical. Should Ikone pass his medical he is expected to start training with his new teammates from December 29th.

Right-sided forward Ikone has been at Lille since joining from PSG in the summer of 2018. During his time in Northern France, he has scored 16 goals in 146 games for Les Dogues.

Once Ikone has completed his medical, he is expected to return to France before returning to Italy at the end of the month.

Fiorentina and Serie A are currently on their Christmas break, therefore, Ikone’s first game for his new club could be on January 6th.

Real Sociedad In Talks With PSG Over Rafinha Loan

Talks between PSG and Real Sociedad are progressing as they attempt to reach a deal for midfielder Rafinha to move to Spain on loan. A six-month loan deal is expected with an option to buy.

Sociedad are hoping to complete the deal in time for the Brazilian to make his debut against Alaves on January 2nd.

Rafinha, 28, spent nine years at Barcelona but failed to establish himself as a regular first-team player.

The midfielder had three loan spells away from Catalonia before joining PSG on a three-year deal in October 2020. However, once again he has failed to establish himself in the first team and now looks set for another loan move.
