Second Bid for Hauge

Eintracht Frankfurt have made an improved bid of €12 million for 21-year-old Norweigian international Jens Petter Hauge. The Rossoneri are reportedly entering the final details with negotiations at the last stage.

Hauge has struggled at the San Siro following his move to AC Milan last year. The Norweigian started just a handful of games last season. The winger did, however, manage to score five goals with the majority of them coming in Europe.

 Adding Attacking Depth the Priority

Adding attacking threats has been the priority for Frankfurt in this transfer window. Die Adler had been crippled in the attacking part of their side following the departure of Andre Silva to RB Leipzig. The striker had scored the chunk of goals for Frankfurt last season, finishing the season with 28 in total.

Despite his failure at Milan, Hauge has proven himself as a capable goalscorer. During his last season with Bodo/Glimt, the Norweigian scored 17 goals in 21 appearances for the side. Hauge will join Fabio Blanco and Rafael Santos Borre as the new attacking faces at the Bundesliga club.

17-year-old Fabio Blanco is unlikely to get the burden of the goalscoring duties. The winger is yet to make his professional debut but is one of the biggest Spanish prospects of his age. Rafael Santos Borre is the direct replacement for Silva.

The Columbian enjoyed a fruitful four seasons with River Plate after a disastrous European debut with Atletico Madrid. In Argentina, Borre rediscovered his form and was the highest scorer in the Argentian league, handing Frankfurt a player with plenty of promise.
