“As a player, you want to be loved and I’ve got a great relationship with the fans. The club giving me this three-and-a-half-year contract shows me the belief they’ve still got in me.”

“It’s good news he was willing to sign a long-term contract because there is lots of interest in a player of his quality and experience. He’s a great ambassador for us and it’s a good decision for the future.”

Tim Krul: Flying High with the Canaries

Having previously spent seven seasons with Newcastle United earlier in his career, Krul arrived at Norwich in 2018 off the back of a mixed spell in the Eredivisie.

The Dutchman was ever-present as Norwich topped the Championship in his first season at Carrow Road, and continued to impress during the club’s short-lived stint in the Premier League.

Back in the Championship this season, the 32-year old has conceded just eight goals in 13 matches as Norwich sit five points clear at the top of the table.
