Roy Keane: Manchester United Players ‘Will Get Ole Sacked’

Roy Keane: United players will get Ole sacked

Another disappointing result and performance left a rather disgruntled Roy Keane questioning Manchester United’s players.

United’s defeat to 1-0 defeat to Arsenal extended their run to six games without a home win. The rather unimpressive home performance leaves the Red Devils in 15th place and in a position of real uncertainty.

Roy Keane described this season as ‘make-or-break’ for Ole Gunnar Solskjaer, whose Manchester United side, ended last season in terrific form. However, a poor domestic start to the year is beginning to raise the questions about whether he is the right for the job.

Roy Keane Believes Manchester United Players Will Get Ole Sacked

Roy Keane: ‘This Manchester United Team Is Nowhere Good Enough’

Despite United’s impressive start in the Champions League, it is the league form that is explicitly concerning. Seven points from the opening six games has certainly been deemed not good enough by Roy Keane, who has directly hit out at the players.

“We were building up this season as make-or-break for Ole, but at this moment in time it’s not looking good. I scratch my head at players who don’t have enthusiasm for a game of football,” he voiced on Sky Sports after the game.

“Sometimes you say ‘there’s no reason to panic’. But the results and performances suggest you should be panicking. Ole will lose his job working with these players – that’s what is going to happen.”

Paul Pogba Brands Giving Away the Penalty as ‘Stupid Mistake’

In a game of limited clear-cut chances, it was always going to take a moment of madness to open the scoring. It was the third time that Pogba had given away a penalty under Ole Gunnar Solskjaer, with no other Manchester United player conceding more than one.

“I’m not the best defensively in the box but I can learn and work on that. I felt like I touched him a bit and I knew I was in the box. I shouldn’t have given a penalty away like that,” He told BBC Sport.

“Maybe I was a bit out of breath and it made me do this stupid mistake.”
