What Will Rayhaan Tulloch Bring to Doncaster Rovers?

The 19-year-old West Brom forward can play anywhere across the front line, providing Darren Moore with more options in attack. Moore is familiar with Tulloch, having worked with him at West Brom.

Tulloch has made five senior appearances for his parent club, having made his debut against Brighton & Hove Albion in the 2018/19 FA Cup fourth round.

He added to those two appearances with three in last seasons FA Cup, featuring in wins over Charlton Athletic and West Ham United and the loss to Newcastle United.

Tulloch has an impressive record at youth level for Albion. He scored 23 and assisted seven in 38 appearances for the U18s, and scored 14 in 47 for the U23s, assiting eight.

He has featured for England at U16 and U17 level.

Fleetwood Town and Swindon Town had reportedly shown an interest in taking Tulloch, however his relationship with Doncaster manager Darren Moore is claimed to have played an important role in his move to the Keepmoat Stadium.

Tulloch is the second forward to join Doncaster on loan this week. Tyreece John-Jules arrived on loan from Arsenal just days ago.

Busy Transfer Window

Darren Moore has been busy improving the squad for Doncaster Rovers’ 2020/21 campaign.

Having lost, Kieran Sadlier, the club’s most-productive player, in terms of goals, they have needed to strengthen up front.

A host of players on loan from last season departed too, leaving Doncaster with a small squad.

Since, Moore has secured the signings of seven players.

Tulloch is the fourth player to arrive on loan this season, following Josef Bursik, Taylor Richards and Tyreece John-Jules, as previously mentioned.

There have been three permanent arrivals with Jason Lokilo, Ed Williams and Cameron John all joining.

Matty Blair Departure

Matty Blair recently joined League Two side Cheltenham Town, having rejected an offer to stay at Doncaster Rovers.

He made 162 appearances in his time at the Keepmoat, scoring ten goals and contributing to 14 more.

A popular figure at Rovers, who was recognised by the PFA as a community champion, among other community-inspired awards, the club and fans will certainly be wishing him all the best for the future.
