Sheffield United striker Callum Robinson has joined newly-promoted West Bromwich Albion as Oliver Burke heads in the other direction.

The Republic of Ireland international scored three goals in 16 Championship appearances with Slaven Bilic‘s side and earned plenty of admirers.

Another Positive Signing for West Brom

The 25-year-old, after signing a five year deal, follows the arrival of Grady Diangana, another who enjoyed a spell with the club in 2019/20 before joining permanently this summer.

As part of the deal taking Robinson to West Brom, Sheffield United have brought in Scottish international Oliver Burke, who is has departed on a permanent basis having joined for £15m from RB Leipzig in 2017.

Chance for Oliver Burke to Recapture Form

Burke has struggled to recapture the form which earned him his big switch to the Bundesliga in 2016 and will be keen to find his best once more under Blades boss Chris Wilder.

The 23-year-old becomes Wilder’s fourth signing of the week following the arrivals of Ethan Ampadu on loan from Chelsea, and duo Jayden Bogle and Max Lowe, both from Derby.

As for Robinson, he departs Bramall Lane having managed just one league goal in 17 appearances since his move from Preston North End last summer.

However, having had his first experience of Premier League football, Baggies fans will be hoping the striker is now ready to make a big impact, as they attempt to extend their stay in the top flight this coming season.
