Huddersfield Town travel to the Madejski Stadium to face Reading. Danny Cowley’s side are hoping to take another step towards Championship safety with victory in Berkshire.

The Royals Are Hoping to Build on Their Impressive Win

Reading were rampant in their last league game. The Royals destroyed Luton Town as Mark Bowen’s side released their frustration following a string of poor results and performances.

Yakou Meite terrorised Luton and scored four excellent goals. Mark Bowen will hope to see more from him and George Puscas who ended his long goal drought.

The Reading manager will be targeting consecutive league wins for the first time since December. Mark Bowen’s team will be pushing for a top half finish. They are three points adrift of Bristol City in twelfth place.

Mark Bowen may stick with the same eleven which put Luton to the sword. He may five changes for that game including three of his back four. Meite will lead the line hoping to add to his twelve league goals.

Momentum Building With Huddersfield Town

Its been an excellent few days for Danny Cowley and his team. The Terriers thrashed Birmingham City and followed that up with a hard-fought draw against play-off hunting Preston North End.

Four points from their last two games have given Danny Cowley something to build on. More importantly, the Terriers have kept consecutive clean sheets something they have struggled with all campaign.

Danny Cowley’s team can move five points clear of the relegation if they collect a second straight away win.

Cowley rotated his side for Saturday’s draw with Preston. Arsenal loanee Emile Smith-Rowe was dropped to bench and is pushing for a recall.

Prediction

A game of huge significance for both sides. Reading are pushing for a top half finish while Huddersfield are fighting to ensure their Championship status.
