Venues for all six matches are to be confirmed. Whilst, The FA say they will continue to update fans on the possibility of attending England’s autumn fixtures in line with the latest guidance from UEFA and the UK government.

The Autumn 2020 international windows are as follows; 3-8 September, 7-14 October & 11-18 November.

Previous Nations League Campaign

During the inaugural UEFA Nations League campaign, England topped a group of three, heading Spain and World Cup finalists Croatia with seven points. England won two of their games, drawing one and losing their opening game 2-1 to Spain at Wembley Stadium.

The Netherlands needed extra time to overcome England in the Nations League semi-final.

The Three Lions finished in third place, having scored all of their spot-kicks to beat Switzerland 6-5 in a penalty shootout after a 0-0 draw in Portugal.

Gareth Southgate will be hoping his youthful squad are ready to go two places further in the forthcoming competition.

With Euro 2020 taking place next summer, it will also provide a good opportunity for the England manager to test his players in competitive fixtures together. Which may come in handy given how little time international managers get to spend with their players in comparison to club managers.

England to Arrange Friendlies

England missed out on friendlies with Austria, Denmark, Italy and Romania earlier in the year, due to the coronavirus crisis’ affect on the sport. However, they could arrange two friendly fixtures during the international windows. The additional friendly fixtures would take place on 7/8 October and 11/12 November.
