Jacob Greaves and Max Sheaf Extend Loans at Cheltenham Town

Cheltenham Town have extended the loan deals of Jacob Greaves and Max Sheaf. The Hull City duo have excelled under Michael Duff becoming key players in Cheltenham’s promotion push.

Jacob Greaves and Max Sheaf Extend Their Loans

Cheltenham announced via their website that a deal had been agreed with Hull to extend the loans of the Greaves and Sheaf. Both have been integral parts of Cheltenham’s excellent season thus far.

Greaves has made 29 appearances for Cheltenham and has become a key figure in Michael Duff’s defensive set up. Speaking to the Hull City website, Greaves said: “I have thoroughly enjoyed my first six months at Cheltenham”.

“I was delighted when I got the opportunity to extend my loan. I’m hoping to kick on and help the team get promotion. The fans, staff and players have all been brilliant with me and I’m just looking forward to the rest of the season now.”

Sheaf meanwhile has made 14 appearances for Cheltenham, but his time has been hampered by injury with the midfielder missing three months of football. However, he has shown his qualities on his pitch.

Speaking to the Hull City website, Sheaf said: “I’m glad to be spending the second half of the season at Cheltenham”

“I want to help the team and the club push on. I’ve thoroughly enjoyed my time so far with everyone supporting me – players, staff and supporters.”

Both Will Play Important Roles in Cheltenham’s Bid for Promotion

Greaves and Sheaf have excelled at Cheltenham and certainly have played a role in Cheltenham’s excellent season. The Robins are very much in the promotion race finding themselves fifth in League Two.

Cheltenham boasts the best defensive record in League Two and have lost just four league games. Michael Duff has team blended with youth and experience. These two youngsters will be hoping to celebrate promotion in May.
