Latest Transfer Rumours

David Silva to Move to Japan?

David Silva could become the latest top-rated player to head to Asia, according to El Chiringuito TV (via the Daily Mail).

The Spaniard could follow in the steps of fellow countrymen Andres Iniesta and David Villa in joining Vissel Kobe.

Kobe have stars riddled throughout their squad; Lukas Podolski, Thomas Vermaelen and Sergi Samper are all on the Japanese side’s books.

Silva had previously been linked with a move to David Beckham’s MLS franchise side Inter Miami; moreover, a return to hometown club Las Palmas has not been ruled out.

Arsenal Chase Attacking Improvements

Jamie Anderson of the Express claims that Arsenal are looking at Stuttgart’s Orel Mangala.

In a re-publication of a report by German outlet HLN, the article states that the Gunners are supposedly debating whether to make a bid for the 21-year-old forward.

It is understood that Mangala is a player wanted by a number of sides – with Arsenal facing competition from Lyon, Marseille, Lille and Roma for the nine-time-capped Belgium Under-21 international.

The report also claims that Arsenal would have to cough up around £26 million in order to sign the Belgian forward.

Leicester City Linked With Ligue 1 Striker

According to reports by TEAMtalk (via LeicestershireLive), the Foxes are chasing Metz forward Habibou Diallo.

The 24-year-old is a reported target for Brendan Rodgers’ side; however, Chelsea, Tottenham and Newcastle United have been tagged as potential destinations for the forward.

Diallo has scored 13 Ligue 1 games this season; Leicester City could sign the striker for a bargain sum expected to be around £10 million – a relatively small sum in the current climate of football transfers.
