Latest Transfer Rumours

Is Raheem Sterling the Next Galactico?

Reports have emerged from Sky Sports that Raheem Sterling is to be the centre of an ambitious swoop from Spanish giants Real Madrid.

It is believed that the Manchester City winger will be watched by Real Madrid representatives on international duty. The Spanish club will then reach a conclusion.

There is a possibility that they could offer the Premier League Champions £70 million and include ex-Tottenham Hotspur winger Gareth Bale in the deal.

Sterling has been in red hot form this year and has the most goals and assists of anyone in the world in 2019. Los Blancos, however, have been indifferent in their form, yet still find themselves second in La Liga.

Managerial Merry-Go-Round

Last week, The Sun’s Joe Brophy reported that Jose Mourinho was in line to replace Arsenal manager Unai Emery.

However, following further reports that Mourinho had met with Arsenal director Raul Sanellhi. The Gunners have attempted to move away from these stories.

Meanwhile, the Independent’s Miguel Delaney believes Arsenal are more likely to go for ex-player and current assistant coach Freddie Ljungberg.

The pressure has built on Emery following a run of results and poor performances. Highlighted by the clubs 1-1 draw at home to Wolverhampton Wanderers on Saturday.

Lallana Off to China?

Liverpool and England midfielder Adam Lallana is attracting interest from the Chinese Super League, John Percy of the Telegraph reports.

He has struggled with first-team game time in the past three seasons with multiple injury setbacks. However, he started the league leaders’ win over Arsenal in the Carabao Cup last week and scored the equaliser against Manchester United at Old Trafford last month.

The England international’s contract runs out at the end of the season. This means he could go for free in January on a pre-contract.

It is unlikely that the Merseyside club will offer him a contract either with Liverpool’s current midfield options being first choice.

Permanent Move for Chris Smalling?

Italian publisher Calciomercato are reporting that on-loan Manchester United centre-back Chris Smalling could be moving to Roma on a permanent basis.

Roma have been impressed with the Englishman’s early-season form, therefore the Italian side are currently looking to negotiate a deal with the Red Devils.

It is believed to be a move that could cost nearly £9 million.

Transfer Rumours in London

North London rivals Arsenal and Tottenham are reportedly involved in separate deals with Barcelona and Real Madrid.

League leaders Barcelona are considering allowing midfielder Carles Alena to move on loan to Spurs. They were interested in the Spaniard in the summer but were unable to get a deal done. This is reported by Mundo Deportivo.

Going the other way could be on loan Arsenal centre back William Saliba because Real Madrid are looking to bolster their defence with the 20-year-old.

Saliba only signed for Arsenal in the summer and hasn’t made a first-team appearance because he was loaned back to Saint-Ettienne for this season.
