Inter Milan Transfer Rumours

Inter Milan are trying desperately to give new coach Antonio Conte a big-time summer signing.  So far they have been linked with Romelu Lukaku, Paulo Dybala, Edin Dzeko and Edinson Cavani.  But aside from Dzeko, it doesn’t seem like any of those players will be coming to Milan this summer.

However, that has not stopped Inter President Beppe Marotta from trying to get some top-flight talent.  The latest reports from Calciomercarto are that they have stepped up their pursuit of members of the Barcelona midfield.  Their names are Arturo Vidal and Ivan Rakitic.

Inter tried to sign Rakitic last summer, but the cost was too high, and Conte still has a great relationship with Vidal dating back to their Juventus days.  Either player would be a strong veteran option to add to Inter’s midfield.

Decisive Day For Cancelo

Manchester City only has a few days left to get a deal done for Juventus right-back Joao Cancelo.  Yesterday it was reported that Man City had restarted talks with Juventus over Canelo’s transfer.  That report mention that City was going to try and use Danilo to push the deal through.

However, the two clubs can’t agree on the correct value for Danilo.  According to Calciomercato, Pep Guardiola values Danilo at roughly €35 million.  But Juventus Sporting Director Fabio Paratici only values Danilo at roughly €20 million.  A €15 million difference is not a good sign this close to the end of the window.

There is still time for both sides to get closer on their valuations, but it makes a deal unlikely.  Even if City are able to sell Leroy Sane, a move for Cancelo only makes sense if Danilo is going the other way.
