Ever since joining Fulham from Newcastle for €20 million, the forward has impressed. Scoring goals when needed, Mitrovic is a typical number nine with great strength and exceptional scoring ability. Fulham Reject Massive Bid For Aleksandar Mitrovic

According to The Sun, Fulham have rejected a bid of around €56 million for Mitrovic from Chinese club Guangzhou Evergrande. The two-time AFC Champions League winners are looking to strengthen their squad during the current transfer window. The former Anderlecht man scored eight times and assisted twice in 21 Premier League appearances. He is also a key player for the Serbian national team. The 24-year-old scored six goals in six UEFA Nations League games.

Aleksandar Mitrovic is happy at Fulham, as long as the club remains in the Premier League. If the Lilywhites were relegated back to the EL Championship, their star striker could depart the club. The survival battle in England’s top tier is very tight and it will be difficult to stay in the league with many teams fighting to remain outside the bottom of the table.

Mitrovic has scored around 42% of Fulham’s league goals. The forward has helped the team a lot, however, it isn’t enough as the club continue to suffer this season. In the summer, the former Newcastle man is expected to steal the spotlight during the transfer window. He has a contract running until 2023, Fulham will try their very best to keep him at the club for a long time. Even if massive bids will be rejected, Mitrovic is likely to be sold if the team relegate back down to the Championship.
