AEW Dark Feud Between Blonds and Acclaimed Continues
Last week on AEW Dark, The Varsity Blonds teamed up with Dante Martin to gain a victory over The Acclaimed and Ryan Nemeth. Martin was the deciding factor in that match, performing a spectacular dive over the top turnbuckle to the floor, before returning to the ring to get the pin on Nemeth. That was just the latest chapter in the ongoing feud between The Blonds and The Acclaimed though, as both teams, ranked numbers 1 and 2 respectively, are vying for a shot at the AEW Tag Team Championships. Tonight they’ll face off in eight-man tag team action, with The Blonds teaming with Matt & Mike Sydal to take on The Acclaimed, Matt Hardy, and The Blade.
Madi Maxx Debuts
Hikaru Shida will take on a debuting Madi Maxx on this episode of Dark. Maxx was trained with Ohio Valley Wrestling (OVW) where she was a regular, and a former women’s champion, until 2018 when she began to work mainly for Queens Of Combat. Maxx competed on an episode of NWA Powerrrr in 2020 in a losing effort to Kamille.
