ROH TV #507 Full Card
Survival of the Fittest Tournament Match: Flamita vs. Rey Horus
Former MexiSquad teammates Flamita and Rey Horus will square off in a Survival of the Fittest round one match. The winner of the match will advance to the six-way elimination match final to have a chance at winning the tournament. The bad blood between the former teammates started at the 19th Anniversary pay-per-view. Flamita, Horus, and Bandido were unable to recapture the ROH World Six-Man Tag Championship from Shane Taylor Promotions during the pre-show. Tempers flared between Bandido and Flamita, and Horus suggested the three stablemates settle their differences later that night. Bandido was victorious in the match, but things were still not settled between the three luchadors.
Flamita later walked out on Bandido during a tag match at ROH TV #499, officially ending the MexiSquad. He went on to defeat Bandido at ROH TV #502 in a one-on-one match. Flamita is looking to carry that momentum into his first-round Survival of the Fittest match against Horus. This will be Horus’s first match in ROH since 19th Anniversary. Find out who advances in the tournament at ROH TV #507.
Pure Rules Match: Silas Young vs. Josh Woods
The former mentor and mentee will go at it one more time on Ring of Honor television. The rivalry was ignited after Josh Woods lost a match to Dalton Castle at ROH TV #494. Silas Young confronted Woods after the match to remind his former mentee that he still needed Young to teach him a few things. Young was in Wood’s corner at 19th Anniversary during a rematch with Dalton Castle. He attempted to get Woods to use a chair on Castle to get the upper hand. After Wood’s refused to do so, Young used the chair on Woods, allowing Castle to pick up the win.
Young and Woods squared off at ROH TV #504 where Young picked up the win after using the ropes for extra leverage to pin Woods. The two will now square off in a Pure Rules match to settle the score on ROH TV #507.
