Team Taz Against The Hangman and The Instant Classic

It will be a busy Wednesday night for Team Taz. Both Ricky Starks and Powerhouse Hobbs will be in action respectively. Starks will go up against number one ranked star, “Hangman” Adam Page. These two men have been on fire winning matches left and right, earning nice win-loss records. Starks has won 10 straight wins in singles action. He is 9-1 in his last 10 matches overall. Meanwhile, Page is on the hottest streak anyone could ever imagine, as he has racked an 11-match win streak and has won 7 straight singles matches. Page and Starks have a lot to lose and prove. Will “Hangman” maintain his number one ranking, or will Starks shake the foundation of the system and make some noise?

Sticking with Team Taz, Powerhouse Hobbs would attack Christian Cage. “The Instant Classic” was itching for a fight and laid out an open challenge, but all he got was a beatdown in the hands of the big man. This came about because Christian refused the offer of Taz to join his team. This provoked “The Human Suplex Machine” and his monster. Knowing Christian Cage, he will not take any of this laying down. If you thought he was ready to fight last week, those events will intensify Cage’s hunger to compete. It will be no easy feat to chop the big redwood down but if anybody can do it, it’s going to be Christian Cage.

Will Cage pull off another win and “Out. Work. Everyone,” or will Hobbs prove to be too much to handle? Find out on this week’s AEW Dynamite.

The Time Has Come

The number one ranked Tay Conti finally gets her well-deserved shot at AEW Women’s World Champion Hikaru Shida. These two women have been teaming for weeks. Additionally, they have been extremely successful in this makeshift tag team. Conti did not only enjoy tag team success but also amassed momentum in the singles ranks. Conti earned this title opportunity by consistently winning match after match, night in and night out. It comes down to this on Wednesday night. Two friends will go at it for the richest prize in the AEW women’s division.

These two women might be great friends, but rest assured that both of them will bring their absolute best. Every woman in the locker room dreams of competing and being the top champion in the division. Conti and Shida might have to set aside their friendship for now because this just became real for the both of them. They knew this day was coming and it’s upon them now. One on one, possibly the two best competitors in the women’s division of All Elite Wrestling will square off. Will the longest-reigning AEW Women’s World Champion once again stand victorious or will the Brazilian Jiu-jitsu marvel be the woman to end Shida’s historic run?
