AEW Talents We Want to See Pushed Before Double Or Nothing

Scorpio Sky Face of the Revolution

AEW Dark has been an essential service for AEW that has allowed them to scout and acquire a number of talents.  Names like Powerhouse Hobbs, The Acclaimed (Max Caster & Anthony Bowens), Red Velvet, and others plied their trade on AEW Dark before making the jump to Dynamite pushes.  The machine has not stopped and there are a number of talents that debuted for AEW pre AEW Revolution that we would like to see get a push in this newest PPV Cycle.

Bear Country

Bear Country

This one is a must.  Bear Country was part of the Casino Tag Team Battle Royal on Revolution and stood out more than any other team.  Bear Bronson and Bear Boulder offer the tag team division something fresh as they are one of the only teams made up of two powerhouses that can ragdoll their opponents.  A slew of exciting matches could await them on AEW Dynamite and a monster push could quickly establish them as the top dogs in the tag team division.

JD Drake

AEW Dark Card

JD Drake made his AEW debut very recently on Dark.  The indie veteran has showcased his skills in his short time on AEW Dark.  Drake has proven time and again that he is a great wrestler and he would fit right in on AEW Dynamite.  Joining up with either Eddie Kingston’s family or even Tully Blanchard‘s new crew would be a good use of his talents.

Lee Johnson

Lee Johnson All Elite AEW

Lee Johnson got his first win ever on AEW Dynamite recently and even got the chance to cut a promo.  Johnson is probably the most likely in our article to get the push we want as he has a feud with QT Marshall ready and waiting for him.  That feud could play out on Dynamite as it also involves Dustin Rhodes. If done right this could be a good way to get a number of the Nightmare Family members some screen time in important matches.

Scorpio Sky

Scorpio Sky Face of the Revolution

Scorpio Sky has been on the verge of big things in AEW for some time now.  His King of Dark gimmick only led to him losing to Cody which was never followed up on.  It would seem that Sky will now receive the push that many fans have been waiting for as he won the Face of the Revolution match at AEW Revolution and is the top contender for TNT Champion Darby Allin.   Sky has been waiting for too long and it may be now or never with him or you risk fans losing interest.

Ryo Mizunami

Ryo Mizunami

Ryo Mizunami has instantly made an impact in the AEW Women’s Division.  Her match with Hikaru Shida received widespread praise and she has made the jump to US wrestling better than most Joshi wrestlers could.  If Mizunami is sticking around AEW would be wise to utilize her to the best of her abilities and keep her at the top of the AEW Women’s division.  While she may not get her rematch with Shida immediately we could see her as a gatekeeper to the championship picture and a great talent to slide in to any feud.
