As Gatoh Move Pro Wrestling heads into the middle of September, the company will inch that much closer to the conclusion of ChocoPro season three. To say that this has been an action-packed season thus far would be an understatement, from Emi Sakura celebrating 25 years in professional wrestling to the first-ever ChocoPro show to take place in a traditional wrestling ring. Fans will still have plenty of shows to go, however, which brings us to the upcoming forty-sixth episode. Here are the confirmed matches for viewers to indulge in.
Chie Koishikawa vs. Antonio Honda
If there’s one man in Japanese wrestling that perfectly encapsulates the comedic aspects of the sport, it would be Antonio Honda. Though Honda has seen success in various promotions, Dramatic Dream Team is where he’s been most prominent as of late. He has also achieved multiple accolades here, specifically three reigns with the Extreme Championship and a staggering seventeen Ironman Heavymetalweight Championship victories. Honda hasn’t always worked alone, though, as the often ubiquitous Gon the Fox has made his presence known on multiple occasions.

It will be the unorthodox offense of Honda that Chie Koishikawa will have to be mindful of as she enters her third ChocoPro match. Though she hasn’t seen the most success in her short time on the show, her energy and charisma are undeniable. Furthermore, this will be her first time facing Honda in singles competition; she has only ever faced the DDT star in tag team affairs. Can she finally shift momentum in her favor with a victory over Honda? Tune into this episode of ChocoPro to find out.
Tokiko Kirihara vs. Mei Suruga
To say that Tokiko Kirihara hits hard would be an understatement. Don’t let her enthusiasm of the Showa Era fool you; she can throw kicks and apply submissions with the best of them. With that said, her singles success has been less than ideal. Though she picked up a victory over Lulu Pencil on episode forty-one of ChocoPro, success afterward has been hard to come by. Furthermore, “Otoki-san” will step into Ichigaya Chocolate Square to face an individual she hasn’t had great luck against.

Enter Mei Suruga, the cheerful yet mischievous “Red Devil” of Gatoh Move. The last time Suruga faced the “Super Rookie” in singles action was on episode thirty-four of ChocoPro. In what was one of the biggest upsets in ChocoPro history, Suruga defeated Kirihara in under three minutes. Needless to say, Suruga will enter this match with the intention to win. However, if she ends up thwarting the former kickboxer, one must wonder if the latter’s temper will rear its ugly head once more.
Yuna Mizumori vs. Pencil Army (Emi Sakura and Lulu Pencil)
Last time on ChocoPro, Yuna Mizumori faced Tropikawild teammate SAKI in singles competition. This was a competitive affair that showed just how far Yunamon had come since her professional debut in 2018. Keep in mind that she reached success early in her career with SAKI, resulting in two Asia Dream Tag Team Championship reigns. Once again, the “Pineapple Girl” of Gatoh Move finds herself competing solo. This time, however, the odds appear to be stacked against her.
I lost my hat…😭
But you would agree with me!!

Emi Sakura and Lulu Pencil, collectively known as Pencil Army, have been working separately as of late. Rewind to episode forty-four of ChocoPro. On this show, Sakura teamed with Mei Suruga to defeat the duo of Sayaka Obihiro and Chie Koishikawa. Meanwhile, on the same show, Lulu Pencil fell in a valiant showing against Chris Brookes, the current reigning DDT Universal Champion. Now that Pencil Army is together once more, will their combined strength will be enough to overcome Mizumori and her trademark power offense?
