PROGRESS Tampa Lineup Finalised

PROGRESS Tampa

PROGRESS Wrestling have announced the last names for PROGRESS Tampa.  We’ve previously covered the first and second groups of announcements made for the card.

Jinny

PROGRESS Tampa

Two-time and current PROGRESS women’s champion Jinny comes to Tampa.  Jinny spent years on top of the women’s division as the most hated heel in the company.  Now though she has adapted a newer persona that is less antagonizing with her sole aim being to bring the PROGRESS women’s division back to the top of the company.

Ilja Dragunov

Former wXw star Ilja Dragunov came into PROGRESS with a bang when he set up a high profile match with Pete Dunne.  Upon signing for NXT UK he lost momentum on the indies but is now a firm member of the PROGRESS upper midcard as one of their strongest workers.  No matter who he faces Dragunov will have a good match at PROGRESS Tampa

Travis Banks

PROGRESS Tampa

Former PROGRESS World Champion Travis Banks comes to Tampa.  The Kiwi Buzzsaw doesn’t have anywhere near the amount of momentum he had during the peak of the South Pacific Power Trip but he is a very talented performer that has only improved since joining NXT UK.

Mark Andrews

Andrews is another former PROGRESS World Champion and could walk in to PROGRESS Tampa as the champion if he can defeat Cara Noir at Chapter 103.  Andrews has been a part of PROGRESS since the early days and is still a prominent feature of the company, most recently as part of the FSU reunion that saw Eddie Dennis win the world title.  The former NXT UK tag team champion is always a welcome addition to a card.

Toni Storm

PROGRESS Tampa

The first-ever PROGRESS Women’s champion, Mae Young Classic winner, former NXT UK women’s champion and former World Of Stardom Champion, Toni Storm is one of the most decorated women in wrestling and played a key part in establishing the PROGRESS women’s division in its infancy.   It’s only natural that she will be a part of PROGRESS Tampa.

Jordan Devlin

The current NXT Cruiserweight  Champion and one half of the PROGRESS Tag Team Champions Jordan Devlin will also be on PROGRESS Tampa.  The former ace of Over The Top (OTT) Wrestling in Ireland shocked the world in January by winning the Cruiserweight title and is now an established part of the NXT product.  His team with Scotty Davis has also kept the tag team division afloat in PROGRESS with the loss of Aussie Open and the Grizzled Young Veterans
