Why Kendal Grey and Lola Vice Should Both Face Jacy Jayne at NXT Stand and Deliver

Jacy Jayne has definitely made the most of her second run as NXT Women’s Champion. She won the title from Tatum Paxley at NXT Gold Rush last November. Since then, she has defeated Kendal Grey, Sol Ruca, and Zaria to retain her Championship. However, her latest victory against Sol Ruca and Zaria happened two weeks ago, and NXT Stand & Deliver is this Saturday.

To solve the problem, a number one contender’s match between Kendal Grey and Lola Vice was held on the March 31, 2026, episode of NXT. It was a great match, but it ended controversially. It looked like Grey had the cover and was headed to St. Louis. But another referee stepped in to dispute the decision. With no clear winner, no one knows who will face Jayne on Saturday. Luckily, there is a solution that can benefit all three women.

Grey and Vice Can Both Have a Chance to Become NXT Women’s Champion

A no-decision can be a proper justification for a triple threat match. There was no winner announced on Tuesday, and unless they have a rematch on Saturday, Jayne won’t have an opponent. Making the match a triple threat allows both of them a chance to walk out of NXT Stand & Deliver victorious. They’ve definitely earned that opportunity in many ways. Grey had an excellent run as Evolve Women’s Champion and has been impressive with Wren Sinclair since getting called up to NXT.

WWE officials are clearly high on her, so she’s getting rewarded. Vice has also been grinding the past couple of years, but hasn’t held the NXT Women’s Championship. She is the current AAA Mixed Tag Team Champion with Mr. Iguana, so being a double champion would make her stock rise exponentially. Making it into the match will provide her motivation to win the championship for the first time.

Jayne Will Have to Fight Harder than She Ever Has Before

If the match is indeed made into a triple threat, Jayne will have a much bigger challenge in front of her. Yes, she was just in a triple threat match for the NXT Women’s Championship. But there’s a huge difference between that and what could happen. Sol Ruca and Zaria have definitive bad blood with each other, so much so that they are facing each other at NXT Stand & Deliver. They were more worried about each other than they were about Jayne.

With Grey and Vice, their sole focus is winning the NXT Women’s Championship. It doesn’t matter how many women are in the match; they all want to take the title off of her. Even though Fatal Influence is nearby, Grey and Vice could easily overpower them, leaving her alone. If she retains, her incredible effort will be filled with determination.

A Triple Threat Will Make NXT Stand & Deliver More Exciting

Whenever something like this happens right before a PLE, there’s always a lot of speculation about what’s going to happen. Given what happened on Tuesday, it makes sense for a triple threat to occur between Grey, Jayne, and Vice. Both Grey and Vice have risen up the ranks of the Women’s division recently, and they deserve to be in a title match in NXT’s biggest PLE of the year. It seems like they are really pushing Grey, and Vice has been working hard for years to get this opportunity.

This match will also be a huge test for Jayne, one that can make or break her reign. If she wins, it’ll be a huge moment remembered for the rest of her career. But if she loses, she gets defeated by two incredible women. Whatever the match type will be, it’ll be great for NXT Stand & Deliver overall.
