Over the last couple of weeks, a newly formed pair has been impressing in NXT. Kendal Grey had a great 2025. She was a huge breakout star in Evolve, being the Evolve Women’s Champion for 150 days. The title has now been vacated, as she is on NXT full-time now. In her occasional appearances, she befriended Wren Sinclair. Her NXT journey started as a member of the No Quarter Catch Crew. The faction had a good run, but ended when she and Charlie Dempsey went their separate ways a few weeks ago.
On the March 17, 2026, episode of NXT, she defeated Fallon Henley to become the new WWE Women’s Speed Champion. The win marked her first title in WWE. They didn’t have long to celebrate, as they had a very important tag team match the next week. Would they work together and pick up the victory?
Grey and Sinclair Beat Fallon Henley and Lainey Reid in a Great Match
Even though NXT Women’s Champion Jacy Jayne is the main focus of Fatal Influence, Henley is just as important. That’s why her losing the Women’s Speed Championship was so significant. A tag team match with her, and Lainey Reid vs. Grey and Sinclair was set for next Tuesday.
The match started with Henley and Sinclair in the ring. Henley drove Sinclair into the turnbuckle, obviously still mad about last week, then slapped and yelled at her. Sinclair elbowed her, but got driven into the turnbuckle again before Reid got tagged in and continued with major offense. She tagged in Grey, who got hit with more offense by Reid.
Sinclair got tagged in, freeing her partner from Reid’s grasp. More tandem offense by Henley and Reid led to Sinclair responding with a double hook suplex. A quick rollup afterwards allowed Reid to punch Grey off the mat. After more struggling, Grey and Henley tagged in at the same time.

A flurry of offensive moves led to Grey delivering a DDT, but it wasn’t enough to win. After all four women fought in the ring, Henley and Sinclair took their fight to the outside. Grey delivered an elbow to Reid, but couldn’t get the pinfall. She hit her with a cross armbar, and once again fell short of the victory. However, she did it again with Sinclair, using the Final Wrench to stop Henley from interfering.
That led to a pinfall victory and another loss for Fatal Influence. With Stand & Deliver next Saturday, Jacy Jayne will be feeling the pressure to retain her title. Could Grey or Sinclair challenge for the title, or will she take her anger out on Henley or Reid?
