Thursday Night iMPACT Preview (4/2/26) – The Fallout from TNA Sacrifice

On the path to TNA Rebellion, TNA Sacrifice was one of the last stops. Sadly, technical issues prevented me from sharing this moment with you. I was able to tell you about the first matches signed for the PLE and Ricky Sosa‘s signing. Earlier this week, TNA Wrestling revealed on social media the main event of TNA Rebellion. Eddie Edwards will invoke his Feast or Fired World Title shot briefcase to challenge Mike Santana for the TNA World Title.

Last night on NXT, after he answered the call last week, TNA World Champion Mike Santana joined OTM to take on DarkState on NXT. In the end, Mike Santana connected Spin the Block onto Shugars and dove through the ropes again to wipe out the remaining members of DarkState. OTM followed with a cover to secure the victory.

Crossing the lines also means crossing the reviews. NXT may be a WWE show; observing what happens on Tuesday nights has become essential to understanding what may happen on Thursday nights. That’s never been truer, and it keeps getting bigger. Let’s Nygma-dive into it.

Thursday Night iMPACT Preview (4/2/26) – The Stakes at TNA Wrestling

The Knockouts World Title is on the line as Arianna Grace and Xia Brookside collide, and Tessa Blanchard and Jody Threat take their rivalry to a brutal Bunkhouse Match rooted in the No Surrender Knockouts Battle Royal. Following the fallout from TNA Sacrifice, Matt Hardy and Jeff Hardy address their betrayal at the hands of The Righteous.

Arianna Grace and Xia Brookside collide with the Knockouts World Title on the line. Two rising forces in the Knockouts division step into a defining moment with gold at stake.

Tessa Blanchard and Jody Threat bring their rivalry to a Bunkhouse Match, no rules, no limits. The issues between them have escalated since the Knockouts Battle Royal, and this fight is set to be physical, chaotic, and unforgiving.

TNA World Champion Mike Santana kicks off TNA Thursday Night iMPACT! on AMC as he addresses the iMPACT! Zone.

After being betrayed by The Righteous at TNA Sacrifice, Matt Hardy and Jeff Hardy speak out.

AJ Francis faces The Home Town Man as the two look to settle a score following rising tensions in recent weeks.

Thursday Night iMPACT Preview (4/2/26) – The Nygma’s View

With three matches and two segments, this episode is made to be full of surprises. With 6 matches signed for TNA Rebellion on April 11,  TNA Wrestling now has 2 iMPACT episodes to build the rest of the card.

Knockouts Things

For those unfamiliar, the Bunkhouse match was made famous in the early days of WCW. Dusty Rhodes competed in them, even in the early days of TNA when it was affiliated with the NWA. The match in the modern day essentially has been a street fight featuring a wide array of weapons.

Tessa Blanchard and Jody Threat will be the first Knockouts to test and taste in this stipulation match. Since TNA No Surrender, the war has been never-ending between the two. If Tessa Blanchard is joined by her Diamond Collective friends, things could become complicated for Jody Threat. The stipulation can help both Knockouts. Nygma says: It depends on who is the most vicious of the two.

After defeating both Léi Ying Lee and Dani Luna at TNA Sacrifice, Arianna Grace puts the TNA Knockouts World Championship on the line against Xia Brookside. As of now, the NXT lady doesn’t have a challenger yet for TNA Rebellion. Through Brookside, Grace could reignite her feud with Lee. Nygma says: In the end, Stacks will stick his nose in the match, and Grace retains.

Other things

AJ Francis faces The Home Town Man. With or without Frankie Kazarian and Elijah, the storyline continues between the two. Then, this match could turn into the end of the storyline. This is not the most appealing bout of the night, but it can be a surprising one. Nygma says: Who could come and change the game? Someone who’s probably very stupid.

We’ll hear from Mike Santana, which means we should hear from Eddie Edwards. Because of Edwards, we could also hear from the System and Order 4. Because of Mike Santana, we could hear from Leon Slater. And because of Order 4 and the System, Moose and Trey Miguel could appear. Nygma says: The war of words can easily end up a real war.

We’ll hear from the Hardys, which means we’ll hear from the Righteous. Vincent betrayed Jeff Hardy at TNA Sacrifice as Dutch revealed himself to be Matt Hardy’s aggressor. The fact is, at TNA Rebellion, the Hardys put the Tag Team titles on the line against the System. Nygma says: Whether the Righteous turns the Rebellion match into a Triple Threat bout, or a match will be signed this Thursday or the next. But a match there will be.

I’ll see you on Friday with all the results and the review. Have you read my Order 4’s John Skyler interview? Check here. As I have already said many times, 2026 is a loaded year for TNA Wrestling. Thursday Night iMPACT on AMC era is nothing but Nygma. How else could it be? Till then, may the Nygma be with you.
