While the action on the ice and slopes is heating up in Milan for the Winter Olympics, WWE is continuing to pull out all the stops back in the states as the Road to WrestleMania heads to the Rocket Arena in Cleveland, Ohio. Last week, tensions boiled over as Bron Breakker threw a tantrum and CM Punk and Roman Reigns eviscerated each other in a deeply personal war of words. As the WrestleMania 42 sign hung from the rafters of the Xfinity Mobile Arena, one thing was clear. Everyone wants in on the biggest show WWE has to offer.
There are only so many spots on the WrestleMania card, however, and tonight, we get one step closer to one of those spots as Raw hosts its first Elimination Chamber qualifying matches. On SmackDown, Randy Orton was the first man to officially earn his way into the chamber, his record 10th, while Tiffany Stratton did likewise for the women. Two more spots will be decided tonight on Raw. In addition, Maxxine Dupri will seek to get revenge by breaking Nattie’s ankle as fellow Alpha Academy mates Otis and Akira Tozawa try to capture the tag team titles from the Usos.

WWE Raw Results from WWE Raw Tonight (2/9/26)
We’re live in Cleveland as CM Punk is seen arriving before being joined by AJ Lee. Behind them lurks Becky Lynch. Rhea Ripley and Iyo Sky are seen sitting in the stands as it’s announced Ripley will face Lyra Valkyria and Ivy Nile. Liv Morgan is seen with Dominik Mysterio and Raquel Rodriguez, all smiles.
Michael Cole offers breaking news saying Bron Breakker was injured while training last week and will be out indefinitely. This follows up on a report from earlier today that Breakker is out following a hernia injury that had been bothering him prior to last week’s Raw.
The Man and the Black Widow
And here comes Lynch, clearly in a sour mood. Lynch says there is only so much disrespect that she can take. She came out planning a big announcement that they’d overthrow the corruption at the Royal Rumble, but then she saw Lee coming back to her show. Before Lynch could continue, Lee skipped her way to the ring. Lynch demanded to know what she was doing there, and Lee said she wasn’t here for her. She was there to support her girl, Maxxine. Lee said she was planning to just hang out before Lynch interrupted her. She called out Lee’s cuteness and said it wasn’t cute. She called her a little chihuahua, just barking in her ear, yapping, and ruining her life. Lee said that was a tad dramatic, as she hasn’t done anything to her personally except for well, beating her at Wrestlepalooza and again at War Games, oh, and costing her the title. Now that she’s hearing it out loud, she gets Lynch’s point, but she got her title back, so water under the bridge, right? Lynch said there is no water and no bridge before laughing and asking Lee what it’s going to take to get rid of her. Lynch asks if she wants to go one-on-one with the greatest of all-time at Elimination Chamber in Chicago? Does she want to be pummeled in front of her friends and family and have Lynch ruin her life the way she did hers? Lee says Lynch is either having a nervous breakdown or she wants to go one-on-one with her. Lee said she knew Lynch liked her, and that is so flattering, but she hasn’t had a singles match in over a decade. It would have to be really special and really worth it. But as Lynch said, she’s one of the greatest of all-time. Lee said if she beats Lynch, what does that make her? Lucky or better than Lynch? Lee said that makes her the No. 1 contender for Lynch’s title, but Lynch says no repeatedly as the crowd chants ‘Yes.’ Lynch says Lee has done nothing to deserve a shot at the title as she’s not even an active member of the roster. Lee says no title, no match, so Lynch relents. She says if Lee thought she was held down before, she has no idea what she’s in for.
The Vision is seen arriving as it’s noted that Austin Theory will be in one of the Chamber qualifying matches against Penta and LA Knight. The Usos are out next, and it’s time for the world tag team title match…after a commercial break. Following the break, Alpha Academy make their way out.
Match 1: Usos retain the WWE World Tag Team Championship against Alpha Academy with a 1D. Full match results can be found on page 2 of this article.
Byron Saxton is interviewing the Usos in the ring, asking what is next. Jey offers respect to Tozawa and Otis before Jimmy says they plan to remain the best tag team in the game. Jimmy turns to Jey and says he needs his brother to go win the Elimination Chamber and get back to being Main Event Jey Uso.
Programming note: Cole reminds everyone SmackDown is on SyFy this week due to the Olympics.
Recap of Roman Reigns and CM Punk’s promo battle from last week, this time featuring some past clips, including showing the Shield, all three members.
A Winner’s Decision Awaits
Liv Morgan makes her way out, flanked by her man. We’ll hear from her after the break.
Morgan goes to introduce herself, but Mysterio stops her to hand her flowers and chocolates, calling her the greatest Royal Rumble winner of all-time. Morgan says Cleveland is now in the presence of the greatest Intercontinental Champion and Royal Rumble winner of all-time. Morgan says she put Jade Cargill and Stephanie Vaquer on notice. They are afraid of her because whoever she picks is going to lose their title on the grandest stage of them all. Mysterio has the mic, but he can’t say anything as Vaquer makes her way out. Vaquer tells Morgan she talks too much before speaking in Spanish. Morgan asks Mysterio to translate, but he says he shouldn’t tell her. He responds in Spanish before Morgan asks what he tells her. Vaquer says he said that she is a little bitch. Morgan offers to give Vaquer her “hot girls love Dominik Mysterio” t-shirt before saying she’s not qualified to wear it. Vaquer hopes Morgan picks her so she can kick her ass. Morgan says she isn’t going to rush for Vaquer or for Cargill. Morgan calls her a puta, so Vaquer slaps Mysterio in response.
A video package airs with all three women competing in the EC qualifier tonight, sharing their thoughts on the match. Valkyria is then out first before the break. Nile is in the ring when Raw comes back from commercial. Ripley makes her entrance last.
Match 2: Rhea Ripley defeats Ivy Nile and Lyra Valkyria by pinning Valkyria with Riptide. Full match results can be found on page 2 of this article.
Morgan and Rodriguez are backstage with Mysterio and Finn Balor. Mysterio tells Balor that JD McDonagh is going to be back, and they are going to get the tag titles. Balor says he’s not done with Punk. He wants the world title. Mysterio says he thinks Balor’s window is closed. Balor says he’s tired of being an afterthought, and he thought they were supposed to be family before he walks away.
Punk and Balor’s Rivalry Renewed
Punk makes his way out as it’s announced he’ll be in the ring for an exclusive interview next.
Balor interrupts Michael Cole to say people have forgotten what happened two weeks ago when he left Punk lying in the ring like a wounded dog. Balor knows he’s hurt because he’s the one who hurt him. He’s not going to step aside and let Reigns take advantage of his kill. It wouldn’t be the first time, as Balor hasn’t forgotten when Reigns took advantage of having him beat. Balor says he’s tired of being an afterthought and tired of being pushed around. Balor says Punk beat him on his home turf, so now he wants to beat him on his. Adam Pearce comes out with security and says they had this conversation, and it’s not happening like this. He had his shot, it passed, and now it’s too late. Punk and Reigns are the main event of WrestleMania, so the title is spoken for now. Pearce asks Balor to leave the ring peacefully, or else he’ll have him escorted out. Punk’s music hits, and he pushes past Pearce. Balor rolls out of the ring,g but Punk gives chase. Pearce tells Punk not to do anything, but he’s got a mic. Punk says Balor isn’t an afterthought, but he doesn’t deserve a title shot. He deserves an ass beating. Punk tells Balor to grow a pair and step in the ring with him, but Balor says not like this and for no reason. He’ll finish what he started two weeks ago if Punk puts the title on the line. Punk says right here, right now. He beat him in Belfast, will do so in Cleveland, and in Chicago. Pearce refuses to make the match and put the ‘Mania main event in jeopardy. Punk says as champ, he deserves a little bit of say. If he doesn’t give him what he wants, he’s going to spend the rest of the show chasing after Balor. Pearce relents and makes Punk/Balor official for Elimination Chamber.
Balor leaves, and Punk tells Cole he’s ready for the interview. Cole asked him why he would jeopardize one of the greatest main events in history for that? Punk says he’s not jeopardizing anything. He’s building something and chasing something. He’s being the fighting champion that the people deserve to see every Monday night. He’s chasing a story that he told over 10 years ago. He’s trying to be better every single day. He will fight anybody, anywhere, at any time to prove that he is what he says he is, the best in the world. He’s brave enough to know that without risk, there is no reward. He is brave enough to put it on the line for the fans because they deserve it. He’s humble enough to know it can end at any time, but he’s confident enough to know it’s not going to happen. He addresses Reigns. He doesn’t believe Reigns hates him. He doesn’t even think he hates what he’s trying to build. Punk thinks he hates that he can’t do anything to stop it. There is only one way WrestleMania ends, with his hand raised.
The Vision finds Pearce backstage. Paul Heyman says Pearce is a better adversary than he gave him credit for. He pushed Breakker’s buttons so much that he popped a hernia. It’s career-ending surgery for anyone but Breakker. Pearce says he’s the GM of Raw, so he knows Breakker is one of the keys to WWE’s future. He wants him back, but what’s done is done. Heyman needs to concentrate on the Chamber and Austin Theory’s match. He tells the Vision not to get involved. Heyman asks if that’s a request or a statement. Pearce says it’s a threat. Logan Paul says if they do get involved, there is nothing Pearce can do about it. He calls himself the biggest star to ever come out of Cleveland, before Bronson Reed says Pearce isn’t his problem, he’s Reed’s problem now.
Nattie makes her way out to the ring as it’s announced that her match against Maxxine Dupri is up next.
Match 3: Nattie vs Maxxine Dupri ends in a no contest after Nattie attacks Dupri outside of the ring. Full match results can be found on page 2 of this article.
LA Knight is seen in a pre-recorded video talking about his revenge on the Vision starting tonight.
El Grande Americano is out with Los Americanos. They take on Je’Von Evans and a mystery partner up next.
Match 4: Je’Von Evans and Original El Grande Americano defeat Los Americanos as El Grande pins Bravo. Full match results can be found on page 2 of this article.
Pre-recorded message from Penta, Knight, and Austin Theory, who reminds he’s won the Chamber before.
Pre-recorded message from Oba Femi saying change is inevitable and change is here. He still hasn’t been announced for a certain brand yet.
Recap of last week and Gunther’s confrontation with Dragon Lee. Gunther is then seen backstage with Byron Saxton. Gunther says he doesn’t care about Dragon Lee. His focus is on the Road to WrestleMania. Saxton announces Gunther is in the ring next week with a qualifier. Gunther says his road should have started with Goldberg and cemented when he tapped out John Cena and AJ Styles. Gunther promises the result will be the same because he’s going to walk out of WrestleMania the new WWE Champion.
Cole confirms it will be Je’Von Evans vs Dominik Mysterio vs Gunther and Bayley vs Asuka vs Nattie. Also, next week, AJ Lee is live to talk about her title match against Lynch at Elimination Chamber.
Penta is out first, sending us to commercial. Austin Theory is accompanied to the ring by Paul Heyman followed by LA Knight.
