With the 2026 Royal Rumble in the books, WWE turns its attention to its next PLE on the Road to WrestleMania 42, February’s Elimination Chamber live from the United Center in Chicago. This year marks the 16th Elimination Chamber PLE, with the event debuting in 2010 and being held annually since, except in 2016.
2026’s Elimination Chamber card will feature two high-profile matches as six men will compete for the chance to take on Drew McIntyre at WrestleMania 42, and six women will vie for a shot at either Jade Cargill or Stephanie Vaquer, depending on who Liv Morgan chooses to face as a result of her Royal Rumble victory. There will also be a world title match, as CM “Chicago Made” Punk will get a chance to defend his championship in the city that bred him against Finn Balor.

All roads lead to WrestleMania 42, with the Chamber representing the last guaranteed chance for a wrestler to earn a world title match. It was at the Chamber last year that John Cena began his Road to WrestleMania, breaking bad and eventually winning his record-breaking 17th world championship. Everything is on the line, and that means the best of the best will look to earn their way into the dangerous structure. Randy Orton was the first to wrestle his way into the Chamber, looking for the same path that Cena took as he seeks his 15th world championship. Every spot across both the men’s and women’s matches will be hard-earned, as will the victories. The Elimination Chamber offers no give, just take. The mentality of the wrestlers needs to resemble the words of Taz from years ago, “enter if you must, survive if I let you,” because whoever does survive is going to WrestleMania.
