SPOILERS: CRAZY Stipulation Set for Cody Rhodes & Drew McIntyre Title Match for 1/9/26 WWE SmackDown

The December 26, 2025, edition of WWE SmackDown was taped on December 19, 2025, and it involved Undisputed WWE Champion Cody Rhodes and his future challenger for the gold, Drew McIntyre. SmackDown General Manager renegotiated with McIntyre to get him reinstated, and that involved a title match against the “American Nightmare” in this WWE SmackDown spoilers for December 26, 2025.

One of the stipulations involved McIntyre apologizing. Well, in classic McIntyre fashion, he did not do that at all.  Another clause in the reinstatement of McIntyre involved Drew choosing the stipulation that their Undisputed WWE Championship match will be contested, and McIntyre chose a Three Stages of Hell Match. McIntyre would tell Rhodes that when he buries Rhodes deep in hell, he should say “Hi” to his dad for him, as McIntyre would brutalize Cody.

It’s a gruesome situation for both men involved, with one competitor having to win two falls in different conditions to secure the win. The match is so brutal that we’ve only seen five of them throughout WWE history, with the final one coming in 2019 involving Johnny Gargano and Tommaso Ciampa in a standard one-on-one, then a Street Fight, and finally a Steel Cage Match.

If anything will definitively end the Drew McIntyre and Cody Rhodes rivalry, it most certainly will be this one. WWE Universe, it’s Three Stages of Hell for the Undisputed WWE Championship, and it will happen on January 9, 2026, on an episode of WWE SmackDown in Berlin, Germany.

That’s all for WWE SmackDown spoilers for December 26, 2025.
