With 17-time WWE world champion John Cena set to retire from the squared circle at Saturday’s Night Main Event on December 13, 2025, another retirement tour could be in full swing.

5. Chris Jericho Vs. The Rock – No Mercy 2001
The Rock taunted Chris Jericho for never winning the “Big One.” Jericho had the credentials to be a world champion, but it hadn’t come to fruition. Nevertheless, at No Mercy 2001 during the Invasion storyline, Y2J challenged Rock for the WCW World Heavyweight Championship. Ironically, Jericho never won the WCW World Heavyweight Championship during his stint down south in WCW.
Jericho and Rock knocked it out of the park in an excellent world championship match. Despite both Rock and Jericho representing WWE in the Invasion storyline, they remained at loggerheads. Ultimately, the introduction of a steel chair led to Jericho nailing Rock with the Breakdown. Jericho finally got the monkey off his back by defeating Rock to clinch his long-awaited first WCW World Heavyweight Championship.
