4. Chris Jericho Vs. Triple H – Fully Loaded 2000
2000 was a strong year for WWE, and its colossal matchups, such as Chris Jericho vs. Triple H, contributed to its success. The second Last Man Standing match in WWE history featured the two bitter rivals going head-to-head at Fully Loaded. The Game’s wife, and reigning WWE Women’s Champion Stephanie McMahon-Helmsley, was in his corner. However, the dastardly Game had the slender advantage as Jericho’s ribs were bandaged.
Jericho proved that he belonged in the upper echelons of the card and didn’t look out of place. For sure, Triple H was the top heel in 2000, and Jericho kept pace with him. Unsurprisingly, the Game wore the proverbial crimson mask. Fans went berserk when Jericho cinched in the Walls of Jericho on the Billion Dollar Princess.
In the closing stages, Jericho nailed Triple H in the sternum with his signature sledgehammer. Ultimately, Triple H regrouped and survived by executing a back body drop through the broadcast table. Y2J was unable to answer the count of 10, with Triple H barely rising to his feet to secure the win.
