On the October 10, 2025, episode of Friday Night SmackDown, the Wyatt Sicks took down the Street Profits to retain their WWE Tag Team Championships. However, their moment of celebration didn’t last long. MFT snuck up behind them, but didn’t attack. Instead, they stared the Wyatts down, warning them of what was to come if they were to be provoked.
The October 17 episode of SmackDown had everyone wondering about the status of the two groups. Would they meet again, or would the Wyatts play tricks with them via vignettes? If they met, who would attack first? Luckily, the two groups collided and answered everyone’s questions in a big way.
MFT’s Path of Destruction Halted by the Wyatt Sicks
Sami Zayn began the night furious at what transpired last week. A returning Tama Tonga and MFT ruined his United States Championship match. They beat down both him and his challenger, Shinsuke Nakamura. SmackDown General Manager Nick Aldis warned him not to do another open challenge, but he didn’t listen. Eventually, Ilja Dragunov answered, and in an epic match, defeated Zayn after a year out of the ring. He got the victory after Solo Sikoa distracted Zayn by staring at him. It was a fantastic victory for the returning Dragunov, but the celebration didn’t last long.
MFT joined him and started wailing away at both men. Rey Fenix, whom they had confronted earlier in the night, attempted to hold them off. But it was MFT standing tall. Sikoa cut a menacing promo, but the lights went out before he was finished. Bo Dallas appeared on the screen, warning them about what they would meet when they open the door.
The lights came back on, and the Wyatts stood behind MFT after the reverse last week. Once again, the two groups have met face to face without any action. After some staring and barking from Tama Tonga, MFT retreated without a single finger on the Wyatts. Also noticeable is the absence of Uncle Howdy, who is usually present with the rest of the Wyatts. WWE is planning something big for the two groups.
The lack of physicality between them is very telling. When they finally get their hands on each other, it will be a big moment for them. Also, when Howdy finally arrives, it’s clear Sikoa will be the one he’ll stand face-to-face with. Until then, we’ll have to wait and see who will make the first move in this brewing feud.
