Stephanie Vaquer Injury problems could derail her championship goals

Stephanie Vaquer’s Injury Update And Wrestlepalooza Status

Stephanie Vaquer has been patient and is waiting for her opportunity at the Women’s World Championship. The 32-year-old won her opportunity by winning a battle royal in the WWE Evolution PLE way back in July. But recent Stephanie Vaquer injury rumours has thrown more uncertainty on the matter.

Vaquer was supposed to fight Naomi, but the latter champion was forced to drop her title due to her pregnancy. Leaving the title vacant and creating an opportunity for someone on WWE Raw to win big.

As plans changed, WWE Raw GM Adam Pearce formally transferred Vaquer’s title match to WWE Wrestlepalooza. However, some doubts emerged when she missed WWE Raw recently, though she did appear on NXT the very next night.

Stephanie Vaquer Injury Update

Wrestling Observer Radio’s Dave Meltzer claimed to clear the Stephanie Vaquer injury situation. He discussed that she is undergoing a petty injury, but WWE anticipates her to resume work next week. Meltzer pointed out that there is nothing to be concerned about and that she will be in a tug of war in the future.

Double Duty on the Horizon

As planned, Vaquer will have two competitions next week. During NXT Homecoming, she will join Rhea Ripley and Tiffany Stratton against Jacy Jayne, Fallon Henley, and Jazmyn Nyx on September 16. Only a few days later, she will enter one of the largest matches in her WWE career: a Women’s World Championship match with Iyo Sky at WWE Wrestlepalooza in Gainbridge Fieldhouse in Indianapolis.

Both Vaquer and Iyo Sky have been respectful in front of their conflict. Although the two can part ways after the match, their meeting will be among the events of the year in the women’s division of WWE. It is assumed that Iyo Sky would switch her attention to her brewing competition with Asuka sometime, and Vaquer is there to shine.

A Potential Dream Match

Should Stephanie Vaquer win the Women’s World Championship, then it would be possible to have the dream match she has been talking about. Vaquer vs. Rhea Ripley at WrestleMania.

Vaquer made prior remarks indicating that Ripley is her dream opponent due to her star power and experience in WrestleMania. As Ripley has become one of the largest figures in WWE, the match between the two would establish Stephanie Vaquer as a top-tier star and entrench her meteoric success since making her debut in October 2024.
