Naomi Relinquished the Women's World Championship on WWE Raw

Who Will Benefit From Naomi Vacating World Championship?

Naomi ended a few weeks’ speculation when she vacated the Women’s World Championship on WWE Raw and revealed she was pregnant. The whole WWE Universe shared in Naomi and husband Jimmy Uso’s delight at the announcement that they were expecting their first child.
The bundle of joy will surely benefit them and their family’s lives. But the now vacated Women’s World Championship will benefit whoever is lucky enough to hold the gold next.
Naomi, as the champion, felt fresh and exciting. WWE will be keen to keep this feeling on WWE Raw. Which means they might look past former champions Rhea Ripley and IYO SKY for the next person to carry the belt. So let’s look at who could be the next Women’s World Champion.

Who Will Be Next Women’s World Champion?

Roxanne Perez

The only thing fresher or more exciting than Naomi in the WWE Raw women’s division in 2025 has been Roxanne Perez. She successfully infiltrated the Judgement Day to replace Liv Morgan. This led to her holding the Women’s Tag Team Championship with Raquel Rodriguez over the summer.
Perez has had many excellent matches on WWE Raw. She also progressed to the Money In The Bank ladder match, defeating Becky Lynch and Natalya to earn that opportunity. She also made it to the semi-finals of the Queen of the Ring.
This means if there’s a tournament to crown a new champion, Perez is a shoo-in to go all the way. Especially with the backing of the Judgement Day.
Perez is destined for a star-making feud with Liv Morgan when she returns. Morgan arriving back on WWE Raw with Perez as champion and leading the Judgement Day would be the perfect setting for this.

Asuka

Asuka is being pushed to her limits by her friendship with IYO SKY at the moment. She feels put out that SKY constantly turns down her help in matches, but will gladly be saved from beatdowns by Rhea Ripley. An Asuka heel-turn is certainly coming. But with Naomi out of the picture, Asuka could be the perfect person to take her role as heel champion.
A new badder attitude and the top prize on WWE Raw could be the perfect way for Asuka to regain the high esteem she once held in WWE.

Stephanie Vaquer

Stephanie Vaquer has absolutely exploded onto WWE Raw since WrestleMania 41. She has the most over move with the WWE audience, the Devil’s Kiss. Vaquer has been presented as a dominant threat since her debut on WWE Raw.
She won a battle royal match to earn a shot at the World Heavyweight Championship at Clash In Paris. Perhaps the number one contender will become the number one woman on WWE Raw.

Natalya

Natalya has been contracted with WWE for close to 20 years. But she hasn’t had as much buzz as she does at the moment for a good decade. Natalya has been allowed to appear outside WWE for GCW, NWA, ROW and AAA. The always cheerful and encouraging WWE locker room leader has shown another side of her character.
Her “Low Key Legend” gimmick draws from MMA fighters. Gone is the bedazzled WWE Cowboy hat. Replaced with cornrows instead. The cheesy WWE smile is non-existent with her teeth covered with a mouthguard. Her Brett Hart-inspired WWE theme is replaced with “Killing In The Name Of”. In the ropes, she’s an absolute killer also. WWE fans have been desperate to see this character crossover.
Now could be the perfect time for Nattie Neidhart to have a badass World Championship run.

Bayley

Bayley has recently been seen experiencing a split personality disorder in backstage vignettes. She seems torn between her original fan-favourite “Hugger” character and her obnoxious, occasionally potty-mouthed heel persona.
Perhaps Bayley will take the best from both her former personalities and emerge as a fiercer threat than ever before. It would be hard to look past her holding the Women’s World Championship if she can draw from her well and reach new heights.
