An unfortunate incident unfolded during the penultimate match at WWE Saturday Night’s Main Event XL. It was supposed to be an amazing Grudge Match between LA Knight and Seth Rollins. For most of the match, it was, until a freak accident happened. Seth Rollins would seemingly tweak a knee during a Springboard Moonsault attempt.

Rollins would stagger, clearly in pain. The match would end quickly after, with LA Knight hitting the BFT for the win. As Michael Cole said on commentary, the WWE Universe thought it was just a tweak or a stinger. Unfortunately, it may be something more serious than initially expected. Seth Rollins has had a history of leg/knee-related injuries in his career, which makes this situation all the more concerning, considering Seth Rollins is going on arguably the best run of his WWE career.
We will be sure to update you more as the situation unfolds, and we wish Seth Rollins a speedy recovery and hope that it’s nothing too serious.
