WWE SNME Results (7/12/25):

  • To start the night on the right note, Randy Orton comes out to Atlanta to a thunderous ovation, accompanied by Jelly Roll, as he faces off against Drew McIntyre, who seemingly has Logan Paul backing him up tonight. From the jump, it was an extremely physical match-up with both men not needing to feel each other out due to their familiarity. McIntyre almost had Orton after a distraction from Paul, hitting “The Viper” with a Claymore. Orton was able to get his foot on the bottom rope. On the outside, Jelly Roll and Logan Paul were getting into a shoving match, prompting McIntyre to turn his attention to what’s happening outside. Orton would capitalize, catching Drew with an RKO for the win. Post-match, Paul was not done, beating down Orton. Jelly Roll has had enough, throwing a punch that knocks Paul on his behind. For his troubles, Jelly Roll got a Claymore to the head via Drew McIntyre.
  • A championship match is up next, as Jimmy Uso battles his brother, Solo Sikoa, for the United States Championship. For most of the match, Jimmy Uso looked poised to dethrone his brother and win his first singles title. Unfortunately, the MFTs, especially Talla Tonga, would prove to be difference-makers. With Jimmy Uso distracted, Sikoa would roll him up, and with Talla providing leverage, Solo remains U.S. Champion. Sikoa and his boys would continue the assault post-match. Fortunately, Jacob Fatu would clean house, except for Talla Tonga. The two monsters would go face-to-face. Tonga would get the upper hand for a bit before being thrown out of the ring. Fatu would end this confrontation by hitting the group with a Suicide Dive, standing tall over his former group.
  • Seth Rollins is out first, along with his “Oracle” Paul Heyman, ready to fight LA Knight. It was a hectic fight between the two, with any man seemingly poised to win. Unfortunately, Seth Rollins would tweak his knee after a Springboard Moonsault attempt, leading to LA Knight hitting him with BFT for the win.
  • For the main event of the evening, the last match of Goldberg against Gunther for the WWE World Heavyweight Championship. This was not your ordinary wrestling match, featuring the high-octane offense and intensity of Goldberg and the brutal brawling style of Gunther. The match saw Charles Robinson getting Speared, Goldberg’s son getting involved, and a knee brace come into play. It was chaos from start to finish. Goldberg made everyone believe that he had one more in him after a devastating Spear and bone-crushing Jackhammer. However, his left knee, the one Gunther took the brace off of, would fail him. A new ref would come into the equation, but Goldberg was too late to pin Gunther, leading to a kickout. Smelling blood in the water, Gunther would lock in the Rear Naked Choke on Goldberg. Defiant to the end, Goldberg would not submit, choosing to pass out, leading to Gunther retaining the WWE World Heavyweight Title. It was a wild ride for Goldberg. And despite not having the storybook ending he envisioned, Goldberg went out on his terms; an icon, legend, and a multiple time former world champion.

That’s all for the WWE Saturday Night’s Main Event (SNME) XL results for July 12, 2025.
