Karrion Kross is finally getting his pound of flesh on the Night of Champions card. After weeks and weeks of tormenting his prey, Sami Zayn finally snapped, giving Kross exactly what he’s wanted since day one. A fantastic manipulator, Kross is set for his first PLE match since WrestleMania XL in 2024. And for him, it seems this is more than just securing the W.
Night of Champions Card: Karrion Kross Wants to Bring Out Zayn’s Inner Bad Guy
Ever since Karrion Kross began seeking out Sami Zayn to confront him backstage, its always been about one thing. Kross sees Zayn’s championships aspirations but he knows he’ll never achieve them. Not until he is willing to do whatever it takes to win. Kross believes he is the one who can show Zayn just that. Kross has been telling Zayn he isn’t good enough or more specifically, he’s not willing enough. He’s lost so many matches, so many championship opportunities, all because he wasn’t willing to take that final step.
So after weeks of manipulation and Kross taking it upon himself to motivate Zayn toward the dark side, the man may have finally gotten his wish. It is likely Night of Champions will see a Zayn who is unafraid and at his most dangerous. Zayn will want to get his frustration out at Kross, but that’s exactly what Kross wants. In his own sick way, he’s been motivating Zayn. On Saturday on the Night of Champions card, both men will learn just how well that motivation worked.
