TNA iMPACT! After The Bell (5/29/2025) – Fallout And Go-Home

Wrestling has only two TNA iMPACT! episodes to build Against All Odds, airing live on TNA+ on Friday, June 6, at 8 PM EST from Tempe, AZ. So, what is the fallout episode from Under Siege becomes the first part of a go-home show for Against All Odds. That also means that these two episodes will be stacked. So, welcome to “Trick-NA,” the Kingdom of TNA World Champion NXT’s Trick Williams (I bite my lips not to laugh).

If you carefully read my preview of TNA iMPACT!, you will soon know if Nygma’s crystal ball was right or wrong.

TNA iMPACT! Results (05/29/25)

  • TNA World Tag Team Title #1 Contendership Four Way Tag Team Match: The Rascalz (Trey Miguel & Zachary Wentz) defeated First Class (AJ Francis & KC Navarro), Laredo,  and The System (Brian Myers & Eddie Edwards) (w/Alisha Edwards)
  • Mustafa Ali (w/Jason Hotch, John Skyler & Tasha Steelz) defeated Raj Singh
  • Lei Ying Lee defeated Ash by Elegance (w/The Personal Concierge)
  • Mance Warner (w/Steph De Lander) defeated Bryce Hansen
  • NXT’s Robert Stone & Victoria Crawford (w/Alisha Edwards & Tessa Blanchard) defeated NXT’s Arianna Grace & Santino Marella
  • TNA International Title Match: Steve Maclin (c) defeated Matt Cardona

Building Title Matches

For once, the Rascalz weren’t robbed, and it’s worth mentioning. First Class, The System, The Rascalz, and Laredo, without Octagon, clashed to become #1 Contenders for the TNA World Tag Team Titles. Alisha Edwards got involved on behalf of The System, but was ejected from the ringside. Laredo made one hell of a match for his team, but Miguel pinned Laredo to win. The Nemeths seemed unafraid of their upcoming Title match fate. Nygma says, “You should be afraid.”

NXT’s Robert Stone wanted Léi Ying Lee to deserve her Knockouts World Title chance. Lee proved to Masha Slamovich that she was right to call her a warrior (then, Ash by Elegance was an easy prey to grab). After the match, Slamovich went face-to-face with Léi Ying Lee and set the date for their title clash with a handshake.

TNA World Champion Trick Williams said he will show up when and where he pleases to defend his title. He added it’s not about Mike Santana, Elijah (??), or Joe Hendry, it’s all about TrickNA. Later backstage, Mike Santana vowed to defeat Trick Williams and bring the TNA World Title back home when they clash this Tuesday on NXT. Nygma says: Let’s hope Williams loses the title as fast as possible because TrickNA is too much for me.

Steve Maclin retained the TNA International title in a great match. Matt Cardona tried to go low and even use the title as a weapon, but he couldn’t win. Before making his way to the ring, Tommy Dreamer fired up Steve Maclin, making him unstoppable. “You fight for all of us, ” Dreamer said. “Shaft” Nygma says: Damn right.

Matches for Honor

Arianne Grace selected a Special Referee for her and Marella’s tag team match against Blanchard and Robert Stone tonight, Jimmy Korderas. After suffering TMJ in her match at Under Siege, Tessa Blanchard was not medically cleared to compete. NXT’s Robert Stone announced that Victoria Crawford will be his partner as they battle the father/daughter duo of Santino Marella and Arianna Grace.

He also unveiled Alisha Edwards as the Special Enforcer, a 10-minute time limit, and Santino Marella’s Cobra banned. Blanchard got involved, Korderas was knocked out, and Stone and Victoria Crawford won. Marella and Grace were robbed and now, Marella has to put his job on the line. Nygma will sound like a broken record, but there can only be one Sheriff in town.

Mance Warner wants a chance at the International Title. He said it before the Maclin/Cardona match happened.

Eric Young pinned X-Division Champion Moose in an impromptu 8-Person Tag Team Match at Under Siege. Moose confronted Young backstage and promised to defeat Young in an X-Division Championship match next week.

Xia Brookside snapped at Under Siege, but Rosemary isn’t finished with her. Next week, the two will face off in a Monsters Ball match.

We’ll see that later

We took an in-depth look at two of TNA Wrestling’s newest Knockouts, Harley Hudson and Myla Grace. The Personal Concierge barged onto the set in search of TNA Director of Authority Santino Marella. Later, Maggie Lee’s makeover was complete as Heather By Elegance and The Personal Concierge unveiled M By Elegance.

Myla Grace and Harley Hudson barged into the Makeover, returning the favor. Hudson said that as TNA’s newest Knockouts, they need to make an impact, so they threw champagne in M’s face. Nygma says: Wasting champagne is a crime, wasting an Elegant moment is a legitimate defence.

Mustafa Ali defeated Raj Singh, thanks to The Great Hands and Tasha Steelz. Steelz protected Ali from a running dropkick. Dirty Ali orchestrated a four-on-one post-match assault on Singh. Steelz tried to talk some sense into him, but Ali threatened her to fall in line. Nygma says: Women are neither human shields nor male anger recipients. So, to Tasha Steelz, slap him once for me, please.

The Best of The Rest

  • Eddie Edwards and Brian Myers attacked Octagon Jr in the backstage area, leaving Laredo alone to grab a Tag Team Championship match.
  • Mike Santana attacked AJ Francis from behind after the First Class match (Nygma says: Don’t be surprised to see AJ Francis in NXT on Tuesday).

The Nygma’s Last Word(s)

It was a very good episode of TNA iMPACT! Six matches are made for Against All Odds. We had action galore, not too much “NXT into TNA.” Then, I’m puzzled by the fact that, at Against All Odds, Elijah is the next TNA Championship contender when Joe Hendry will face Kazarian, and so is not given a rematch against Trick Williams.

We’ll have more answers next week, as we’ll know if Santana prevailed or not. I make here the sincere promise to tell you why “Trick-NA” makes me laugh, but only when Trick loses the title. Till next week, may the Nygma be with you.
