WWE SmackDown Results & Spoilers (5/30/25):
- Hometown hero and legend Bianca Belair kicks off WWE Friday Night SmackDown in Knoxville, Tennessee. Belair said that she’s happy to be home. Unfortunately, Naomi would enter the fray, seeking forgiveness. Naomi made it known that she went to Bianca’s childhood home uninvited, prompting the EST of WWE to tell her off. Naomi would go low, saying that she would hate for something to happen to Belair in her hometown. Jade Cargill would once again make a beeline for Naomi, resulting in a slugfest.
- With Cargill and Naomi already in the ring, Nia Jax would enter the arena, marking the beginning of the Triple Threat Women’s Money in the Bank 2025 qualifier. After a match that had breakneck pace, Naomi would let her experience guide her, securing the fifth spot in the Women’s Money in the Bank 2025 match.
- R-Truth serenades Knoxville as he heads into the ring to face off against JC Mateo. The match did not last long, with Mateo picking up the win after a “Tour of the Islands.” Along with Solo Sikoa, Mateo would beat down R-Truth before Jimmy Uso could make the save. They would also gang up on Jimmy before exiting the ring.
- WWE Tag Team Champion The Street Profits speaks to the WWE Universe. The Profits raved about how they’re the top dogs in the best tag team division in the world, and they’re more than ready to defend the titles against anyone. This prompts Fraxiom, Motor City Machine Guns, and #DIY to all stake their claims as number one contender. A brawl ensued before The Wyatt Sicks would clean house, causing utter devastation.
- Los Garza takes on the high-flying team of Rey Fenix and Je’Von Evans, with the new NXT North American Champion Ethan Page on commentary. In this match of the night candidate, all four men put on an impressive showing, specifically Je’Von Evans in his WWE SmackDown debut. Evans and Fenix were on the verge of victory. Unfortunately, Ethan Page would get involved, allowing Los Garza to get the win.
- Alba Fyre failed to avenge Chelsea Green, with Women’s U.S. Champion Zelina Vega continuing her roll with a pinfall victory after a Code Red.
- Damian Priest talked about the end of his blood feud with Drew McIntyre and put United States Champion Jacob Fatu on notice, stating that he’s coming for the gold.
- Jacob Fatu would enter the ring, preparing for battle against Andrade and Carmelo Hayes in a men’s Money in the Bank 2025 ladder match qualifier. Andrade would see the opportunity and took it, pinning Carmelo Hayes to qualify for Money in the Bank in Los Angeles.
- To end the night, Cody Rhodes comes back to SmackDown to confront the Undisputed WWE Champion John Cena. Rhodes voiced his pleasure to be back into the fold, stating he’s ready to resume the mission and it begins at Money in the Bank 2025. He then had a surprise for the WWE Universe in the form of his partner at the PLE, Jey Uso. After a few “Yeets,” John Cena would come out, immediately running both Jey and Rhodes down, referring to them as “John Cena Wannabees.” Cena also had a suprise, introducing his partner, Logan Paul. Cena and Paul would lay it thick saying that they’re the present and future of the WWE and with Cody Rhodes and Jey Uso can’t do anything about it. The night ended with Jey Uso and Cody Rhodes standing tall against John Cena and Logan Paul, a week before their monumental tag team match at Money in the Bank in Los Angeles.
