WWE Saturday Night’s Main Event Results (5/24/25):

– The nostalgia trip kicks off with the heated tag team match between Seth Rollins and Bron Breakker, accompanied by Paul Heyman, and Sami Zayn and CM Punk. Physical match between the two teams, with Punk and Zayn getting the upper hand early in the match. Unfortunately, a returning superstar would get involved, leading to a violent Spear from Bron Breakker and a pinfall victory on Sami Zayn.

– Women’s United States Champion Zelina Vega defends against former inaugural champion Chelsea Green. The match was fast and furious, with Zelina Vega proving that she’s a different competitor now since winning the title. Vega would ward off the interferences from the Secret HERvice. The match concluded when Zelina hit an Avalanche Code Red on Chelsea Green, retaining the title in impressive fashion.

– Probably the most anticipated match of the night happens next. R-Truth tries to save his “childhood hero,” John Cena. The champion entered in style, looking as focused as ever. Meanwhile, R-Truth also came out to “My Time Is Now,” sporting vintage John Cena gear. Cena did not waste time, beating down Truth. John would slow down the pace while delivering vintage offense. Acting as the “Good John Cena,” R-Truth would mount a comeback, providing the vintage Shoulder Blocks, Spinout Powerbomb, Five-Knuckle Shuffle, and an Attitude Adjustment and STF. Cena would quickly put a stop to this. At the end of the match, it seemed like Cena still had some humanity in him, pulling back as he was about to hit Truth with the Undisputed WWE Title before handing it back to the referee. Unfortunately, this was all a rouse; with the referee distracted, John Cena hit R-Truth with a low blow, followed by an AA for the pin. Cena proved that there’s no coming back from this because he does not want to.

– Drew McIntyre and Damian Priest go to war in a Steel Cage Match. Priest showed McIntyre a whole other side of him tonight. Multiple South of Heaven Chokeslams, and a Con-Chair-To to the exposed skull of McIntyre later, Priest walks out of the cage as the winner on Saturday Night’s Main Event.

– The Saturday Night’s Main Event has Jey Uso defending the WWE World Heavyweight Championship opposite the “Maverick” Logan Paul. Jey had extra pressure going into this match, with John Cena reminding him that it would be embarrassing if he lost to a “social media” star. Uso had Paul on the ropes, until John Cena got involved behind the referee’s back. Fortunately for Jey, a “brother” was looking out for him, helping him pick-up the win after a Spear to Logan Paul to end the night still WWE World Heavyweight Champion.

That’s all for full, LIVE WWE Saturday Night’s Main Event results for May 24, 2025.
