The Nygma’s View
With 10 matches announced, TNA Rebellion has a stacked card, with huge stakes that were confirmed on iMPACT! on Thursday.
After NXT’s Jacy Jayne defeated Rosemary thanks to her Fatal Influence friends, Xia Brookside and Léi Ying Lee came to make the save. Director of Authority Santino Marella announced a match for Countdown to Rebellion: Rosemary, Xia Brookside, and Léi Ying Lee vs. NXT’s Fatal Influence. Not a lot to say on that one, just some advice to Rosemary: prepare enough green mist for everyone…
Except for Moose, not one member of The System had a match at Rebellion. Because Moose and JDC robbed Trey Miguel and Ace Austin on iMPACT!, thanks to Alisha Edwards, plus Eddie Edwards and Brian Myers attacking Miguel after the match, the decision fell fast. It will be The System vs The Rascalz & Ace Austin at Rebellion.
Backstage, knowing The System is never coming without some “help”, Trey Miguel decided to call for some backup. Sean Waltman is coming back to TNA Wrestling at Rebellion. A huge chance not to be robbed again or to be defeated.
.@TheTreyMiguel knew who to call to back him and @The_Ace_Austin…Two words for ya! Sean Waltman! @TheRealXPac

Ash By Elegance is furious after Heather By Elegance agreed to a Four-Way match for their Knockouts World Tag Team Titles at Rebellion. They don’t even have to be pinned to lose their titles. Two TNA and 2 NXT teams will be in the same ring. Let them all eat cake, please…
Tommy Dreamer inspired Knockouts World Champion Masha Slamovich to never doubt herself heading into her title defense against Tessa Blanchard at Rebellion, connecting them to Johnny Rodz and the pride he and Dreamer have always had for Masha.
It was a beautiful segment, showing how strong Masha is. Later, after Tessa Blanchard won her match against Missa Kate, Masha came out of nowhere and made a statement with a Snow Plow and an armbreaker.
.@THETOMMYDREAMER offered @mashaslamovich words of inspiration ahead of her Knockouts World title match against Tessa Blanchard THIS SUNDAY at #TNARebellion.

The Nemeths went to the Hardys’ Compound. They met Willow, the Gothic Baby, Bardie, Ruby, and the whole Broken family. The problem is that Nic and Ryan were able to escape with the TNA World Tag Team Titles in their possession. Huge mistake as they “woke up” a Broken Jeff. Whoever wins tomorrow, expect this feud not to be over.
In an AA meeting, Mike Santana called Mustafa Ali the “true addict” as they prepare to settle their score in a Falls Count Anywhere match.”My name is Mike. I look around this room, and I see strength.” I let you find out the complete segment that moved me deeply. Like I said before, knowing your weaknesses is a strength, which makes Santana a very strong man.
Coming from the very bottom to rise the way he did makes Santana a hero. It makes no doubt in my mind that he will win at Rebellion, even if he has to become a Monster to defeat another Monster.
.@Santana_Proud reflects ahead of #TNARebellion, where his war with @MustafaAli_X reaches its boiling point in a Falls Count Anywhere match.

We don’t know yet who’s going to walk with Elijah. To be honest, I have no clue. It might be someone from NXT like TNA. As long as a guitar ends up on the head or back of someone, I’m ok.
Eric Young congratulated Steve Maclin on becoming the first TNA International Champion. Then, Maclin was laid out by the fire. Maclin and Young meet one-on-one with the title up for grabs at Rebellion. Another beautiful piece of cinematic orchestra from the TNA teams, kudos to them. Eric Young has played mind games with Maclin for a long time, I’m afraid that could cost Maclin the title.
.@SteveMaclin and @TheEricYoung’s final sit down before #TNARebellion did not end well for the TNA International Champion.

The Ultimate X match is going to be fantastic. Moose will have to get rid of 5 huge talents to retain the X-Division title. Leon Slater is the youngest main-eventer in TNA Wrestling’s history and a high-flyer. El Hijo Del Vikingo is a ropes prodigy. What else could I say? Matt Cardona is coming back to TNA after a few months away.
Sidney Akeem showed at TNA Unbreakable that he deserved that spot. KC Navarro is another young high-flyer who deserves to be in. Then, Moose is a part of The System, and he is not going to come alone. Huge match with a predictable end.
Joe Hendry and Elijah won their match against Ethan Page and Frankie Kazarian because Page refused a tag from Kazarian. I may believe in Ethan Page, and not in Joe Hendry, but he won’t be the first NXT guy to win a TNA World Championship.
That leads us to Hendry and Kazarian. I don’t know where the betrayal or friend will come from, but someone will end up World Champion for the first time or remain Champion. All the other will have left are his eyes to cry, and a rematch to hope for.
