In a digital exclusive interview, Director of Authority Santino Marella praised Sidney Akeem for his performance at TNA Wrestling: Unbreakable and offered him the final spot in the X-Division Title Ultimate-X match at Rebellion. Akeem rounds out the field for the high-risk, high-wire spectacle, which also includes Moose, Matt Cardona, El Hijo Del Vikingo, Leon Slater, and KC Navarro.
The sensational high-flyer, Sidney Akeem, made his shocking TNA debut at Unbreakable when he answered the open challenge that was laid out by Moose. Akeem took the reigning X-Division Champion to his limit, but in the end, it was The System’s numbers game that propelled Moose to victory.

The Ultimate-X Match is a signature TNA Wrestling match. Two cables, connected to metal structures rising from the four corners of the ring, cross 15 feet above the middle of the ring.
The X-Division title will be suspended from where the cables cross. The winner will be the first participant to take off the belt and become the X-Division Champion. In TNA Wrestling’s history, the Rebellion match will be the 53rd Ultimate-X match in the company’s history.
Sidney Akeem, a former Cirque du Soleil member, spent four years in WWE and NXT as Reggie. After his release in May 2024, he has worked for many independent promotions, including GCW, WSW in Australia, The Crash in Mexico, and CanAm in Canada. He also had a match against Serpentico in Ring of Honor.
TNA Wrestling “Rebellion” is airing live this Sunday night, live on PPV from The Galen Center in Los Angeles, CA, at 8 PM ET on TNA Plus and Triller TV. A Countdown to Rebellion will be airing live at 7 PM EST on the TNA YouTube Channel and TNA Plus.
