TNA Unbreakable After The Bell (4/17/2025)

TNA Unbreakable After The Bell (4/17/2025)

TNA Wrestling was saying “Viva Las Vegas” yesterday, as after a CountDown to Unbreakable episode of iMPACT!, we were live from Sin City for the TNA Unbreakable special event. If you carefully read my preview, you will soon know if Nygma’s crystal ball was right or wrong, and if that night was as bloody, sweaty, and tear-jerking as expected.

We are now nine days away from Rebellion, so fasten your seatbelts as the TGV is at full speed.

TNA CountDown to Unbreakable Results (4/17/2025)

  • Laredo defeated Jason Hotch w/ Tasha Steelz
  • Xia Brookside w/ Lei Ying Lee defeated NXT’s Jazmyn Nyx w/ Fallon Henley & Jacy Jayne
  • Ultimate X Qualifying Match: KC Navarro defeats Cody Deaner
  • NXT’s Gigi Dolin & Tatum Paxley defeated Heather by Elegance & Maggie Lee w/ The Personal Concierge
  • Dani Luna w/ Jody Threat defeated NXT’s Jakara Jackson w/ Lash Legend
  • Brian Myers defeated Leon Slater

The CountDown Side

Jason Hotch lost the match because he was paranoid about what Santana did to John Skyler last week. Revenge is a cold dish best served, and if Ali allows himself to flee every time he sees Santana, Santana is ready to seek revenge.

Brian Myers cheated to defeat Leon Slater. Myers, Moose, JDC, and The Edwards called themselves The System, but they could change their name to “The Cheat System.” Every time they can, every match they have, every person they have at ringside, they do everything to

Good news, Maggie Lee doesn’t want to become an Elegance. She made herself and Heather by Elegance lose their match against Gigi Dolin and Tatum Paxley. I love this woman.

Cody Deaner was worried as his contract expires on May 1st. Director of Authority Santino Marella wanted to help him, but the board is concerned with wins and losses. Marella allowed Deaner to qualify for Ultimate X at Rebellion, but Deaner failed to seize the opportunity and gave the spot to KC Navarro.

Even if Navarro cheated to win, I am sure Deaner will not leave the iMPACT! Zone on May 1st. And if Navarro thinks he can dethrone Moose in the Ultimate-X Match, then I can start to believe in Joe Hendry.

Rosemary helped Xia Brookside win her match against NXT’s Jazmyn Nyx. Rosemary pulled Jacy Jayne off the apron and sprayed her with the green mist.

We can ask ourselves what Rosemary is trying to do, once helping Brookside, then making her fear. After all, “We” are the masters of mind games, so Rosemary is the Black Queen of unpredictability.

TNA World Champion Joe Hendry and Knockouts World Champion Masha Slamovich were on the same page before their Champions vs. Challengers tag team match against Frankie Kazarian and Tessa Blanchard at Unbreakable. Okay, but with an injured arm, you may be on the same page, but not the same Championship power. Unless there’s no injury at all.

Elijah performed live for the crowd, poor guys. He asked the burning question: Who wants to walk with Elijah?

He laid out an Open Challenge to anyone, from any company, all around the world at Rebellion. Wherever you come from, please, take Elijah’s guitar, slam it on his head, and shut him up. Thank you in advance!

I will say it loud, I believe in Ethan Page. To be honest, I’ve always believed in Ethan Page. He questioned the judgment of TNA World Champion Joe Hendry, who will compete with an injured shoulder tonight at Unbreakable, just 10 nights away from his TNA World Title defense against Ethan Page and Frankie Kazarian at Rebellion.

Maybe I’m All-Ego too.

TNA Unbreakable Results (4/17/2025)

  • TNA International Title Tournament Three-Way Match: Eric Young defeated JDC and Zachary Wentz
  • TNA International Title Tournament Three-Way Match: Steve Maclin defeated Ace Austin and Eddie Edwards
  • Moose’s Open Challenge to the Best High-Flyer: Moose (w/ Alisha Edwards) defeated Sidney Akeem
  • Six-Man Tag Team Match: Mike Santana & The Hardys (Jeff Hardy & Matt Hardy) defeated Mustafa Ali, Nic Nemeth & Ryan Nemeth
  • Challengers vs Champions Mixed Tag Team Match: Joe Hendry & Masha Slamovich defeat Frankie Kazarian & Tessa Blanchard
  • Barbed Wire Massacre VI: Sami Callihan defeated Mance Warner (w/ Steph De Lander)
  • TNA International Title Tournament Final Three-Way Match: Steve Maclin defeated AJ Francis and Eric Young

The Unbreakable Side

Every man involved in the two qualifying matches deserved to become the inaugural TNA International Champion. Eddie Edwards, JDC, Ace Austin, Steve Maclin, Eric Young, and Zachary Wentz are all uberly talented. Then, if you remove the 2 Usual Cheaters, the Champion could only be a high-flyer, AJ Francis, or one of the two people who hate each other.

It turned out to be AJ Francis and these two people. Steve Maclin can thank Alisha Edwards, who inadvertently slapped her husband, for the final spot he earned. Eric Young played the perfect game, teaming up with JDC to later betray him and then get rid of Wentz.

In the end, Steve Maclin became the first-ever TNA International Champion, driving Eric Young crazy and asking for another title chance (read more here). I didn’t really have someone in mind when writing my preview, but Maclin is making a great inaugural Champion.

Sidney Akeem replied to Moose’s Open Challenge (read more here). The Nemeths are invited to the Hardys’ Compound, and the Ali vs Santana match at Rebellion is going to be a Falls Count Anywhere. The reason for these two news items is the fact that The Hardys and Santana won against Ali and The Nemeths.

As I was expecting, Santana and Ali brawled out of the iMPACT! Zone, the Nemeths found no friend to help them, and the Hardys were at their best. The die is cast, my friends, and the Rebellion matches will be delightful.

TNA World Champion Joe Hendry and TNA Knockouts World Champion Masha Slamovich defeated Frankie Kazarian and Tessa Blanchard. Kazarian inadvertently clotheslines Blanchard. Hendry’s shoulder was doing good.

Yes, I don’t believe in Joe Hendry. And I believe in Chris Bey when he is saying he is, we are, TNA is UNBREAKABLE (read more here).

Barbed Wire Massacre VI was pure madness. The toys used were a barbed-wired door, a barbed-wired N64 Controller, a barbed-wired baseball bat, a barbed-wired sphere, a screwdriver, and a barbed-wired Mr. Socko. Callihan squeezed a lemon into the open wounds of Warner. A “Corporate Mankind” Callihan stapled Warner’s tongue to a door.

Warner tossed salt all over a bloody Callihan. Forgive me but this match was so damn great. It proved there’s only one Barbed Wire Massacre Master in TNA.

His name is Sami Callihan.

The Nygma’s Last Word(s)

iMPACT! was not the right fit for a CountDown to Unbreakable, but the event itself was very good. Now, in 9 days, another game is going to start. Until then, enjoy Easter time, hunt eggs, eat chocolate, enjoy Mania weekend, we’ll talk about Rebellion next week with your usual previews and After The Bell.

May the Nygma be with you.
